That summer color!
Thanks, Julie. She is a bold thing!
What a beauty!
Thank you, Dale!
Now THAT’S what I call a pop of color!
Yes, she is putting on quite the show this year! 👍🏼
Oh…She’s a madam alright!!! Full takeover!!
🙂 Thanks, Dawn!
That is so splendid trailing down.
Thank you, Flavia. It’s done well this year. 👏🏼
Wonderful!
Thank you, Cathy. 🙂
Gorgeous
Merci!
So many beautiful flowers!
Thank you, Alice!
Wow! I have no other words. 😊
🙂 Thanks, Pepper. She’s looking good this year.
My goodness. Mine have never gotten that big or flowered that much. In fact I don’t think I have any blossoms so far this year. Guess I should go out to the garden and check. I saw buds when I was weeding…
A dose of fertilizer in spring and evenly moist soil makes a difference with this one. 👍🏼
Gorgeous. I love clematis but I don’t have a good place to grow them in my very small garden.
Yes, their growing requirements can be persnickety!
Your clematis is doing well. Now that I can grow them, I’ll look for some next year.
Thank you, the toughest part for me is planting ‘in full sun with shaded roots!’
Ooh, butterflies in the wind. Looking good kind lady 🤗❤️🙏
Thank you, Mark!

Thank you, Xenia. Quite vibrant!
Quite vigorous and beautiful.
Thank you, Sandy. It seems to be happy there. 🙂
Oh, what a glory to have by the door! Welcome, welcome!
Definitely a red carpet (of sorts)! 🙂
Wow! Your clematis is gorgeous!!
Thank you, Maria!
Oh so pretty!
Thank you, Kris!
Oooh, I love that color! It’s a blast of pow-wow!
Thank you, Tina. She has become an old friend. 😉
Oh so very lovely, this reaching, vibrant, summery clematis. Thank you Eliza.
Thank you, Jet!
What a beautiful plant, reaching towards the sky 😊
Thank you, Belinda. It flowers for weeks, a great plant!
What beauty – I should restore the clematis we removed after a renovation a while back.
One must have at least one! 🙂
I’ve never seen clematis of this sort in other than purple; this color is as gorgeous as it is eye-catching. I love that you called it an old friend; we do bond with plants as well as with people and critters!
It’s true, she’s been with me many a year, and like the bird migrants, I’m always happy to see her in the spring. 🙂 Thanks, Linda.
Beautiful frame.
I see flower buds on my clematis.
Thank you, Rupali. Hope yours makes a great show. 🙂
That is a richly colored and lovely Clematis you have there, Eliza. We have one (pink and white) but unfortunately it is unprotected unlike yours so sliding snow off our solar panels crushes it every winter and it has to recover, but recover it does. Also home to robin’s nests the last few years.
Once established, they seem pretty tough!
Is this growing in a container Eliza?
No, in the ground, in the corner by the porch. There’s a small trellis along the wall, and wires for it to climb to the roofline. I trim it back to the trellis in spring.
Such a lovely wild thing ❤
Thanks, she is a lovely plant. 🙂
