Sometimes, simply deadheading isn’t enough and more drastic action is needed to clear paths of overhanging vegetation. This week quite a few flowers got the chop: Gloriosa daisies (Rudbeckia hirta), Calendula officinalis, Zinnia elegans ‘Envy’ and Zinnia ‘Zahara Salmon’, plus some sprigs of feverfew (Tanacetum parthenium).
A second vase contains two of my favorite dahlias: pink ‘Chilson’s Pride’ and clear yellow ‘Lemonade’, plus more ‘Envy’ zinnias.

Love the matching tableclothon the first. Lovely arrangements!
Nice calendulas with long stems.
That’s a deadheaded vase? Looks fantastic Eliza 😂❤️🙏
