Very cool, Eliza. A Red Lion even if it’s not.
Yes! Thank you, Amelia.
Reblogged this on The Militant Negroβ’.
Thank you for reblogging!
My pleasure Ms. Eliza.

Thank you, Diana.
Gorgeous, great job
Thank you very much!
Simply beautiful. β₯
Thank you, Robin. π
So pretty! Late bloomers, I too, have the same color red blooms, two bulbs in one pot…one bulb is an ‘offspring’…one has 3 the other 2 blooms! Also an Apple Blossom with 3 flowers. So huge and gorgeous. They go outmon the deck in the Summer, backmin late fall….must store a lot of sunshine in their bulbs! π
Thank you, Alice. I can just imagine yours are lovely. Even though we associate them with Christmas, they are really spring bloomers in their native land. Thus, we who keep them year to year, enjoy ‘Easter’ blooms. π
I didn’t know that! (about being spring blooms….oops….noticed I added 2 extra ‘mm’s) I’ve had these bulbs for a really long time….need to re-pot!
So beautiful, and elegant!
Thank you, Maria!
Great photo. Love how you can see the veins in the petals.
Thank you! Amaryllis has such a lovely and bold flower.
A delightful bit of bold color to herald spring’s arrival. (That’s a hint Ma Nature, we’re more than ready!)
Yes, sir, more than ready! Yesterday, I was out spreading compost in the midst of all day snow flurries. No more waiting! π
Thanks for your visit, Peter.
What a stunning photo!
Thank you, Laurie!
I’m glad you’re getting some color at last!
At least inside the house… π thanks, Kris!

Wonderful lighting!
Thank you for noting that, Belinda. I love the way it plays along the top curve, almost like a caress.
Very nice!
Muchas gracias, Maria!
Beautiful color and photo!π Hopefully in May we will be outdoors enjoying the flowers.π
I hope so! It has been a slow spring. π Thanks much!
Realizing it’s a wordless post, but what flower is that? Beautiful capture!
Thank you, Elizabeth. It is Hippeastrum or commonly called Amaryllis (although that is a different species of bulb).
Stunning!
Thank you, Fi!
WoW Wednesday!

I could use this shot today (when I finally saw it) – a happy pop of color on a dreary day here.
