Gorgeous! Stunning color..they almost look like ‘triple’ Tulips! …..hmmmmm I have a glass ❤️ shaped vase similar to that….but where? Brrrrr….I just planted my last …of 7 sixpacks of Pansies….so chilly out & a few snowflakes were coming down 😮🤭
Thank you, Alice. If you look upon this vase from above, it looks like a cloud – a wedding gift from ages ago.
It’ll be warmer tomorrow. 😉
Oh! A cloud sounds pretty….an ‘older cloud’ 😁 Sure hope it’s warmer…otherwise Marathoners will be quite chilly.
I think they like it cool and cloudy, less heatstroke and dehydration. The spectators however, not so much! 😉
Reblogged this on The Militant Negro™.
Thank you for reblogging!
You’re very welcome Ms. Eliza.
If not outside…
I love beauty no matter where it shows up. 🙂
Hear, hear!
Love the colors! – and looking forward to In a Vase on Monday!
Thank you, Peter!
Really lovely!
Thank you!
X
What a lovely bright colour!
Thank you, Karina. We need it on this cold, blustery day– the weather is more like December than April.
It’s a bit improved here. It was blustery too, but we had sunshine (and showers) and about 12 degrees celcius. Soil temperatures even warming up at last!
Blizzard here. Beautiful to watch the wind sculpt shapes at will. Must say though, the tulips warm my heart!
Snowing? oh dear, this winter is really hanging on! Glad the tulips helped lift your spirit. 🙂
They are beautiful! Are they from your garden already?
I wish! They were a store-bought gift from my spouse. Thanks for stopping by, Joanna.
Oohh Eliza, those are lovely tulips! Spring is coming – I think! We’ve had a bit of a tease this weekend here in PA and I spent the entire weekend out in the sun, but tomorrow looks like winter again. ugh.
Thanks, Elizabeth! These tulips have a light fragrance, which adds to their delight.
The weather has been a tease, hasn’t it? So cold today!
A tonic (especially as we dig out from 14” of snow in MN)!
Oh, my, that is a lot of snow! I wonder when spring will ever arrive?
This is exactly what we need on this windy, cold, and rainy day!
Thanks, Hien, glad you liked the bouquet. 🙂
Lots of energy and beauty 🍊🍊
Yes! Thanks, Karen! 🙂
Wonderful hubs! Beautiful photo and flowers.
Thank you, Amelia. He is a keeper. 😉
Very cheerful…love the color!
Thank you, Marian. They’ve been delightful to have on the table. 🙂
Delightful display!
Thank you, Belinda!
Stunning!
Thank you, Dor! 🙂
Beautiful!!
Thank you!
I’m glad you found a burst of color! I hope your weather is improving?
Thank you, Kris. The weather is less than pleasing today. ‘Wintry mix’ overnight has left the ground covered in a couple of inches and now it is pouring rain. Wish I could ship you some!
Gorgeous! Do you know the variety? Interestingly shaped vase too.
Thank you, Christina. As they were a store-bought bouquet, they didn’t have a name. They have a fair amount of yellow splashed through and a nice, spicy fragrance. I would definitely grow these!
Just to rudely jump in.. but if I am right, these are “Sunlover” tulips! I was excited to see your image as I’ve just grown these and they’ve been so beautiful!
Thank you for giving us the hybrid name – that looks like a match!
Ah great! They are quite distinctive I think, you’ve captured them beautifully in your shot.
Thank you!
A gorgeous breath of spring! Especially when it doesn’t look quite so spring-like outside…
Thank you, Indie. This wintry weather is getting a bit old!
That is a beautiful, happy bouquet. Have a wonderful new week!
Thank you, Maria and the same to you!
Thank YOU 🙏
So much beauty!
Such a gift! 🙂
Peach, orange, or red – whatever color those flowers are I like it xx
Thanks, Christy!
Just beautiful! So vibrant. Love it!
Thank you very much – we’ve really been enjoying them. Esp. since we’ve had 2″ of snow overnight. Getting kind of tired of cold weather!
Yes, enjoy them! The only down side I have to frequent travel is that I rarely get a chance to have fresh flowers in the home. I lived in Canada at one time, so appreciate being tired of cold!
The orange color is beautiful.
Thank you, Maria. I’ve really been enjoying this bouquet!
What a handsome arrangement. The color is divine.
Thank you, Susie. The fragrance filling the room is a bonus on top of the beauty.
This brought me joy. Coincidentally, my blouse is the same color today. Thank you.
Thank you. I’m glad to share the joy that this bouquet has brought me. I wish I could share its spicy scent as well– a simple, yet profound delight.
I love these colors, Eliza. They give me faith that spring will arrive.
Thank you, Carolyn. Yes, we must hang in there!
What a lovely burst of colour to end my day with 🙂 x
Thanks, glad you liked them. 🙂
Beautiful colors. Very warming. 🙂
Thank you, Robin, they were a perfect contrast to the weather.
Gorgeous – and definitely appreciated today with yet more snow!
Thank you, Sarah. The spring has been slow in coming, for sure. I’m ignoring the weather until it improves. 😉
We may have hit the end of it – there is not a single low in the 15-Day forecast for us at or below freezing. Note: I say this while looking at a lot of snow still on the ground, but you have to start somewhere!
Sounds hopeful!
GORGEOUS! You made my day, Eliza! Thank you! 💝
Thank you, Amy! 🙂
Your husband made a beautiful selection! I love your still-life photo … it has a wonderful, homey feeling!
Thank you, Denise. I love such surprises! 🙂
They’re beautiful! If you are still waiting for spring, I hope it comes to you soon. It feels like we’ve gone straight from winter to July in the UK, although the flowers think it’s spring. Our heatwaves never last though.
Thank you, Adele. I’m worried that will happen here as well. We’re still not much above 50F. I expect that won’t last forever.
I love that vase! At the angle you took the pic, I thought for a minute that I was looking at a mirror image, but no, it’s just a beautiful vase in the shape of a cloud. Awesome!
Thank you very much, glad you liked it!
A gorgeous profusion of warmth and color inside, and your outdoors still looks on the wintry side. Great photo of springtime, Eliza.
Thank you, Jet. We are finally getting warmer weather, so things are starting to spring forth – at long last!
Glorious color to warm the winter weary soul!
Yes, indeed… thanks, Peter!
