such a gorgeous palette…& I looked up if these are from a sugar maple…the very beginnings of maple syrup & read you can eat these seeds!
Squirrels and chipmunks devour them very quickly, and litter our driveway with the debris.
so too bad they don’t seem to be able to use a dustpan & broom 🤣
