    Sooo many maples here, Eliza — and sooo many of those helicopter seeds! I have to hope that not all of them fall on fertile ground though!

    such a gorgeous palette…& I looked up if these are from a sugar maple…the very beginnings of maple syrup & read you can eat these seeds!
