Beauty blooms!
Thank you, Cindy!
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes and Jaye Marie.
What a winning combination, Eliza…
Thank you, and for reblogging! x
💕
Hi Eliza. Looks like spring has finally spring for you!
MJ
Yes, and I’m enjoying every minute!
I don’t think I’ve ever seen either flower, but the colors certainly suggest a New England version of our bluebonnets and Indian paintbrush. Blue and orange go so well together.
Thanks, Linda. Yes, a good comparison!
I have some blooming right now, and it certainly makes me smile.
Blooming at the same time, they make a great combo. 🙂
I love that shade of blue and they look so nice mixed in with the primroses.
Thank you, Barbara, Muscari are a spring favorite, they blend with everything. 🙂
Beautiful. Thanks for sharing another of Nature’s gifts.
Thank you!
Gorgeous!!!
Thank you, Chris!
A lovely combination
Thank you, Karina!
Lovely shot!
Thank you, Hien!
And the primroses are also very pretty. So good to see some bloom after a long winter. (Suzanne)
Thank you, Suzanne– spring is a joyous season!
I have to agree with everyone with this beautiful combo of flowers. Funny how nature colour-coordinates at will. Could not imagine myself wearing those three colours, four if you include the green, together! Yet here, it works so perfectly.
Thank you, Dale. Complementary colors work well in the garden, and of course, green goes with everything! 😉
Yes, they do. And it does! 🙂
Lovely array of color and form. I’ll be you’re enjoying your spring!
Thank you, Tina. My world is greening up and flowering, I couldn’t be more thrilled! 🙂
A bright star in every Primrose….and dainty Muscari….mine are coming up in the grass.
Small but mighty! 🙂
Just beautiful 🤩🌸💖
Thank you, Susan! 🙂
Lovely. I’d be tempted to get down on my knees for a closer look. 😉
Thanks, I’ll loan you a gardening cushion for your knees! 😉
I’ll take it! 😁
The primulas are a lovely colour Eliza. 😃
Thank you, Cathy. They start out pale orange and deepen to red, interesting to watch. 🙂
It’s spring! I’d have never combined those colors but I also love the combination.
Thank you, Kris!
Lovely!!🙂
Thank you! 🙂
The primula look so happy and springlike, and the combo with the blue is perfect!
Thank you very much, Frank! That is a vintage primrose planted at least 60 years ago by the original owner/builder found at the edge of the woods. It starts off pale and darkens with age.
A vibrant complement of colors. Lovely photo, Eliza, that sings, “Spring!”.🧡💙
Thank you kindly, Jane! x
Lovely composition!
Thank you, Donna! 🙂
Ahhhhhh
🙂 Thanks, Alys!
Lovely fiery beauties among the blues.
Thank you, Andrea!
I love those blue things! By any chance, are they the same ones Monkey found on our walk??
Yes, they are both grape hyacinths (which aren’t true hyacinths, but Muscari, but that is a technicality). 🙂
Thanks for clarifying, Eliza. They do kind of look like bunches of grapes (or maybe blackberries!)
Yes, that’s the association for their name. 🙂
Looking beautiful!
Thank you, Gary!
Gorgeous 😊
Thank you!
Such a cheering spring combo.
Thank you, Tanja!
We’ve definitely reached the colourful time of year again!
Amen! 🙂
Such beautiful colors!
Thank you!
