Thank you, Donna! Nature is a master artist, for sure.
Neat!
🙂 Thanks, Sandy. Laying on the trail, it looked like a bracelet, so of course, I had to try it on!
Beautiful photos, Eliza! I was wondering what the cuff was. ❤️
Foliose lichen… the latest trend in jewelry, ha! Thanks, John! 🙂
I’ll pass on that trend, you’re welcome! ☺️
I don’t even think there is a vaccine for that! Clever, you are.
Ha, not sure I’d want to be immune to the beauty of nature. 😉 Thanks, Gary.
Hi Eliza. Love the clothing accessory! You look like you are still in the grip of winter.
MJ
Thanks, MJ. Though unusually mild this winter, yes, we still have crusty snow, but it is melting daily. At this rate, it won’t last long.

Ha, you should market that!
Oxidized copper would yield a fine reproduction. 😉
My kind of jewely! If you need additional lichen for your productions, I’m your supplier. 🙂
Ha, yes! I saw this lichen that had once been on a small tree on my walk and thought it looked like a bracelet… then later I saw the ice and a post was born! 😀
Gorgeous
Thank you, Sheree!
Pleasure Eliza
Eliza, I so appreciate the beauty that nature is…and I appreciate your eyes opening us all to it. Such a blessing. Thank you for showing us the beautiful world! 💜🌎
Thank you for your kind words, Carrie. 🙂 💕
Love it 💖
🙂 Thanks, Val!
I see you’ve been raiding Mother Nature’s closet! 🙂 Nice choices!
Ha, yes, you’re right. 🙂 Thanks, Barbara!
Definitely cool jewelry!
You know how I love lichen and glittery things! 😀
Cartier never equalled this~! Beautiful.
🙂 Thanks, Linda. I must agree!
So beautiful!
Thank you, Donna! Hope you are well.
I am Eliza…getting back out there in the blog this week finally.
Love the beauty of winter. 😊👏🏽
Beauty abounds, all one has to do is look. 🙂
Very true! 🙂
Haha, love it!
🙂 Thanks, Frank!
Lichens are so cool. Perfect jewelry for your next formal dinner party. You’ll need a celadon green cocktail dress I think!
Ha, yes! 😀
Nature has the best designs.
Agreed, that she does!
Yes, yes! Your stylish cuff made me smile.
Thanks, Laurie– laying on the ground, it just called out to me!
I can certainly see why.
Jewellery by nature! Love it! Beautiful!
Thank you, Dale, my kind of adornment! 😉
😀
Ice bubble-baubles…so much to see…looks like the UK over Brittany (Bretagne) & I see snake & eagle faces…lichen is always interesting.
Indeed it is, a world within a world. Thanks, Alice!
I love the lichen cuff!
Thank you, Anne. The latest in fashion accessories! 😉
Likin’ the lichen adornment, Eliza! 🙂
Thanks, Steve!
An excellent Warrior bracelet. 🙂
I would feel strong wearing it! 🙂
If only you could preserve your lichen cuff! I’d make a great fashion piece 😉
Thank you, Kris. Just a whimsy, but it could inspire a hammered copper piece that would be lovely. 🙂
Oh they are lovely
Thank you, Karina 🙂
OMG, ice baubles are usually my thing, but I absolutely love the lichen cuff!!😁
😀 Aren’t they great? 🙂
Wonderful finds, beautiful!
Thank you, Belinda!
The lichen cuff is quite beautiful Eliza! I have been finding pine bark everywhere now our snow is melting, which is also very pretty.
Thank you, Cathy. The forest is full of treasures!
Dazzling winter jewels today, Eliza, and really fun, too.
Thank you, Jet. Such whimsies are indeed fun.
Lichen cuff! You’ve got my mind working now. How fabulous.
Hi Loree! I love lichen and that piece just jumped out at me… if only it wasn’t so fragile. Thanks for stopping by!
beautiful-made me feel cold to see them!
Thank you, Michele. It is cold at night, but our days have been quite pleasant in the 40s and this week, 50s. Those temps are at least a month early!
Oh so pretty … and best of all, FREE!!!
Thank you, Debbie. Nature blesses us daily!
The creativity of ice – it seems boundless 🙂
Truly!
The lichen makes for a very attractive wristband. I wonder if anybody has thought of selling them.
Thanks, Tanja. I hope not (!) but not likely as it is rather fragile. The branch it had grown on had died and the bark slipped off it, leaving this round ‘cuff’ on the ground. The lichen was still very much alive so I put it on a new host. 🙂
I agree with you, Eliza., and am glad the lichen found a new home. In “Gathering Moss,” I learned about the mass harvesting of mosses that had taken decades, if not centuries, to grow, only to end up in flower baskets or other short-lived decorative items. But if I were an artist, I might want to create jewelry with a lichenoid appearance.
Hammered copper oxide perhaps? 🙂
That sounds attractive.
Your ice sure does take on a jewel-like appearance. Love your cuff! Have you worn it out anywhere? 🙂
Thanks! Being fragile, it had its photo, then went back to its place on the ground. Take only photos, leave only footprints. 😉
Lovely focus on Nature 🤩😍💕✨
Thank you, Shelley!
