Me too!

Thank you, Cindy! π
The very last piece of summer? Beautiful, calming photo Eliza.
Yes, taken a few weeks ago, this vignette is likely no more. Time marches on!
Beautiful and peaceful. Asters are the bees knees (literally)!
Truly, they are. Thanks, Cathy!
Beautiful! Captures the essence of autumn. π
Thank you, Cathy! It seemed to me that as well.
Beautiful post. Have a nice sunday.
Thank you, same to you!
Such a lovely autumnal photo. Love the background a much as the aster.

Thank you, Alice!
Nice autumn picture. Love the contrast of the red leaves in the background.
Thank you, the colors this year have been extra nice… probably from the lack of rain. A silver lining to drought!
Little purple stars!
‘Aster’ is Greek for star! π
Indeed it is!
An unexpectedly pleasing color combination, Eliza.
Thank you, one never knows what one will find along the trail. π
Love the color!
Thank you, Sandy!
Welcome.
Beautiful image Eliza!
Thank you, Reed!
A beautiful glimpse of autumn, Eliza. The asters look so pretty against that background. π
Thank you, Robin!
You never know how you’re going to react to a photo, but I just wanted to jump into this beautiful autumn photo thinking of those wonderful childhood memories of jumping into a pile of fall leaves!
π I was a big leaf jumper myself! π
π
Ah, the asters are fading and the scarlet leaves are taking their place…
I wish I could slow it all down, but fall is running head long into winter!
so it seems….
Divine ππ
π Thank you, Karen! β€
The flowers convey a sense of nostalgia for the summer that is in the process of being erased by autumn into winter. But then the autumn leaves are lovely too π
Thanks much, Carol. Autumn is a lesson in appreciation without attachment. π
That is an interesting and constructive way of looking at it!
So nice to still see flowers despite the calendar. So pretty.
Thank you, Belinda. Yes, I’m hanging on as long as I can! π
So beautiful! β€
Thank you, Joanne!
Beautiful! I love those chrysanthemums.
Thank you, Agnes! π
Wonderful contrast. And good to see that you still have a few flowers!
Most of the leaves have fallen this past week. Oak and beech are the color now, with brown not far off. I’m already looking ahead to April!
The asters persist and we are fortunate for that. There are still a few heath asters flowering along the edge of our road where I did not mow them.
I love all the asters that bloomed this fall – a fine show!
I love that wherever you are, Eliza, you find a bouquet. Thanks for sharing this one.
Thank you, Jet. Flowers and plants are like magnets drawing me in!
I thought this picture was pretty from the part of it that was previewed but it drew an audible ‘ooh!’ when I clicked and saw the all leaves.
Glad you clicked through… π Thanks, Susan!
Another beautiful capture π
Thank you!
