Time to rest and go inward. đ
Oh, yes! wonderful comment, Karen, thanks much. â¤
An evocative image.
Thank you, Anne. It could be an invitation or a farewell.
Lovely composition
Thank you, Derrick.
It lies there waiting for you. With the chill in the morning air lately the canoe wants to float on the river before it freezes over. đ
We are heading in that direction… kicking and screaming, ha! đ
đ
Wonders.
đ Thank you.
Is that made of wood? or particularly attractive fiberglass? For a variety of reasons, there aren’t many wooden boats around here, and none can stay in the water; there are critters that eat them.
I believe this is a fiberglass hull and the rusty lines indicate iron in the water. It does give the impression of wood grain at first.
How inviting!
Yes, makes me want to paddle away into the serenity. đ
Definitely!
An adventure awaits.
It’s a nice little lake, a good place for a paddle around.
Wow! Very pleasing photo!
Thank you, Hien!
Ah, the possibilities. đ
đ Yes, indeed.
I wonder, is the canoe awaiting an adventure?
Or is this the end of summer?
Maybe both – one last ride before the cool weather creeps in. â¤
Maybe both, but as we head into winter, boats will be lifted as this will all turn to ice and could crush a hull easily.
Oh, I hadn’t thought about that. Our water never ices up here, it simply doesn’t get cold enough, but what you say is so obvious now I think about it!
Absolutely love the photo and believe it should be kept ready by the water until the first snowflakes!đ
Of course you would, avid-paddler that you are! đ Thanks, S!
For me this reflects the ghanging of the season
changing
Yes, it is kind of bittersweet. A transition from what was to what is to come.
captured silence.. beautiful..
Thank you, Dymoon. â¤
So peaceful and soothing. Exactly what we need right now.
Yes, indeed, we do. Thanks, Laurie.
đŋâĨī¸đ wonderful!
Thank you! â¤
Beautiful image Eliza!
Thank you, Reed! Happy week to you…
Oh, how I wish to float away in this beautiful canoe. Sigh. Thanks, Eliza.
Thank you, Jane. â¤
A photo that somehow conveys both serenity and the possibility of escape. The latter impression may stem from excessive smoke inhalation.
Yes, I can understand you feeling the latter especially. The photos I’m seeing are eerie and apocalyptic. Take care.
Shades of Autumn. : )
Indeed…. đ
Such a lovely place to sit đ§
Thanks, Val. It was a sweetly tranquil scene. â¤
Peaceful yet very arresting image. It definitely speaks to autumn.
Thank you, Carol. It is transition time here, as the cool weather comes on and the summer slips away.
An interesting and beautiful transition, even if it does herald the winter …
What a beautiful boat – would love to glide down the river in that
Thank you, Karina. Escape was on my mind, too. đ
Looks like it wants to go for a nice peaceful float! đ
Yes! I wish it was mine. đ
Beautiful, peaceful, end of summer image. â¤
Thank you, Robin. I am stunned that the equinox is only a week away. Time is flying by!
Ahhh! Such a peaceful scene. đ
Surely is. đ Thanks, Irene.
Great composition. It seems so alive.
Thank you, the seasons are shifting a little bit every day. How are things in your area…still smoky? It must be such a challenge.
Rain saved us. The smoke cleared out yesterday and the air is breathable again. It was a sad, scary week, but I did finally begin to teach myself to sew, virtually connect with my family and friends and read two books.
Good news! And it sounds like you kept busy, too.
