Beautiful flowers Eliza! ๐งก xxx
Thank you, Xenia!
It’s always fun to see your posts & wonder: what kinds of beauty will I see, when I open your mail….this one is stunning! The colors, the vase & the backlight. It makes me happy to see what you do with all your flowers and colors and vases. Thank you!
Thank you, Alice. โค This morning, I saw this vase on my kitchen windowsill and wanted to capture its simple beauty, which I find so heart-and-soul-lifting. ๐
Wow! Such beautiful flowers๐คฉ
Thank you, Nathi! ๐
My pleasure, Eliza! ๐
Love the yellow/gold cosmos! I always think of cosmos as pink, white and dark red. Iโm going to try gold next year. Did you use seeds or bedding plants?
Thanks, Ellen! These grow easily from seed sown after last frost. I collected seed from a garden I visited a few years ago and have grown them ever since, saving seed in the fall. I like them better that the pink species as they are more mildew resistant and less floppy. Recommended!
Beautiful cosmos and vase!
Thank you, Hien!
Beautiful colours!
Thank you!
Lovely! I sowed the seeds you sent me but did so late and they stubbornly refused to make an appearance, at least thus far.
Oh, dear. Would you like me to send more? They are seeding like crazy right now as I gave up deadheading them. ๐
The swirly blue-indigo does a good job setting off the yellow and orange of the flowers.
Thanks, Steve. Those little vases are perfect for the window sill, rarely without flowers all summer.
That burst of yellow with that blue vase is utterly delightful.
Thank you, Laurie!
I love the colors and the simplicity of this!
Thank you, Karen! x
Very nice! So nice to see the colour on the drab day weโre having.
Thank you, Belinda. I think those clouds are moving over us now. ๐
Stunning! Excellent choice of backlighting and blue vase. You have the eye of an interior decorator!
๐ Thanks much!
So lovely!!๐
Thank you, S!
The bright yellow and blue together looks stunning! โค
Thank you, Joanne! ๐
So bright and sunny! Blue and yellow/orange make a great combo!
Thank you! One of my favorite color combinations.
Your selection of blue and yellow certainly is reminiscent of Van Gogh, even absent the sunflowers!
Thank you! I do love those colors together.
The sun wouldn’t be brighter than this beautiful bouquet. ๐
Thank you, Judy. ๐
Always so nice, when I’ve been off for a while, to come back to your lovely flowers!
Thank you kindly, nice to see you here again. ๐
I never knew Cosmos came in that colour. Glorious.
Thanks, MJ, I favor this species over the pink. But there are several cultivars that are tempting me!
Amazing flower pot.
Thank you!
I ordered these for next year and am so glad I did now seeing them in your vase! They are simply lovely. ๐
You are sure to love them – they have earned their place in my annual garden.
How lovely! Sun in a vase.
๐ I like that analogy! Thanks, Steve.
So cheerful!
Thank you, Fi. It makes me happy every time I see it… simple pleasures!
Cosmos are such wonderful flowers, they can fill out an arrangement or be the sole flower. The yellow ones are so cheerful, too. Matched with this vase, they are a smile to behold. Lovely, Eliza.
Thank you very much, Jet. They certainly uplift. ๐
So joyful. I love them!
Thank you, Allison!
The translucence of the light works out great with the petals!
Thanks much, Maria!
Very beautiful!
Thank you!
Very pretty!
Thank you, Adele!

Thank you very much, glad to share them!
Happy colors. Much needed. Thank you, Eliza. ๐
Thank you, Jane. I agree, we need all the cheeriness we can get. x
That back lighting is gorgeous and really enhances the flowers and their colours.
Thank you, Carol. It’s was a lovely morning view, all the more so as it was ephemeral.
Wonderful!
Thank you, Caroline!
