Great shot,lovely colors !
Thank you!
I have white and pink but planted two purple this year. đ
I expanded last year and now have 5. They didn’t like our last heat wave, unfortunately. đŚ
Beautiful.
Thank you!
Very handsome! Like discovering northern hemisphere species – learning a lot here đ
Thank you, Liz. Clematis doesn’t like the heat and must have cool, moist roots, so probably not a good candidate for S.A. đ
So pretty! I forget how far behind us you are…it is 90 here today.
Wow, that’s pretty warm! We just finished our first (rather early) 3-day heat wave. Glad it is 75 and breezy today- a welcome relief! Thanks, Marian. Stay cool!
A most attractive looking flower.
Thank you, Anne.
It’s so totally amazing how many wonderful and beautiful “things” grow on our Earth. The fortunate, who take care of them.
So true, thanks Alice. đ
Words don’t do a flower like that justice!
I agree – thanks, Sarah!
Beautiful clematis.
Thank you, Brian. They are really pleasing this year.
Love that color, Eliza!
Thank you, Peter! It’s sublime. đ
Perfection!
Thank you, Kris!
Wonderful composition and nice lighting! What was the lighting scenario?
Late afternoon shade – au naturel! Thanks. đ
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.
Thank you for reblogging!
Lovely Clematis.
Thank you, Rupali.
What color!
A lovely thing! đ
Stunning!
Thank you!
So pretty.
Thank you, Fi!
Gorgeous colour. I was so impressed by clematis on a visit to the UK. In our mistbelt area here in the KwaZulu-Natal Midlands, I know someone who specialises in growing and selling clematis. She has some success but lots of challenges!
Thank you, even here, clematis can be challenging with their need to stay moist and have cool roots in full sun.
