A wonderfully colourful foliage display.
It is that, Maureen. It would grow well in your warm area, I expect. It is from Sumatra.
I don’t know what it is (are you surprised?) but it looks vaguely California-ish. I like it.
Thank you, M. It would grow well in SoCal, I expect. Chinese Evergreen, a common plant and in your area, bedding plant. Aglaonema ‘Red Sumatra’ – a stunner!
So beautiful and unusual!
Thank you, Cindy. An amazing variety of color all on one plant!
Who needs words. 🙂
🙂 A feast for the eyes, for sure! Thanks, Judy.
Wow ! Great light and colors for a dreary day! Thanks Eliza 💛
Thank you, Val. 🙂 xo
Reminds me of Christmas ribbon candy! Nature is SO beautiful!
Yes, it does 🙂 – nature is full of wonders!
Great image
Thank you, Christina.
Judy is right. Who needs words?
IKR? Such beauty is best consumed with the eyes and soul. 🙂
Lovely plant, hopeful photo — wonderful, Eliza.
Thank you, Jet!
Where are you to enjoy such a pretty ginger?
It is an Aglaonema (Chinese Evergreen), at Smith College’s Lyman Conservatory. I visit there often, particularly in winter.
I agree – True Beauty is beyond words – that’s why to try create it via images – but even that falls short …
Pure presence. 🙂
I love the colour. Very nice!
Thank you, Belinda!
It seems that every leaf on a variegated plant is just so different and interesting….and a flower as a bonus!
So true. Thank you, Alice.
pretty
Thank you, Jill.
No words necessary ❤
Thanks, Christy 🙂
I hope seeing that plant mentally transported you to a warm tropical place, Eliza, if only for a moment.
Thank you, Kris. Yes, my mini-vacations to the greenhouses get me through the winter, for sure!
What a lovely plant and beautiful photograph!
Thank you, Judie!
Life’s new fire. Heartwarming.
Thank you, Albert. I admire your poetic point of view. 🙂
I’ve seen this foliage before and it’s amazing!
I imagine it is a bedding plant for shady areas where you live. To see that would be amazing!
