Eliza…what a beautiful photo! The terra cotta color is so pretty against the blue of the water….& a Wood Duck! What are the flowers in your banner?
Thank you, Alice. The header photo is Barrenwort (Epimedium x rubrum).
That’s lovely!
Thank you, Val!
So serene… Lovely Eliza! 💗
Thank you, Julie!
This is lovely. It looks so peaceful.
I could have spent hours watching the ducks. 🙂
The epitome of peaceful. 🙂
Thank you!
Reblogged this on The Militant Negro™.
Thank you for reblogging!

Beautiful! Is that your home in the reflection?
Ha, don’t I wish! It was taken at a park in Albany, NY. It was a gorgeous day.
Reflections of peace…❤️
Yes, indeed. Thanks, Stormie. 🙂
Oh, I do love a good reflection, and this is a beauty. 🙂 I also like your new background and header – very soothing.
Thank you, Judy!
Serene Beauty 💕💚
Thank you, Karen. A lovely moment, for sure. 🙂
Beautiful photo! I almost missed the ducks, until I saw they were mentioned. LOL Very peaceful setting.
Thank you! I tried to get a closer shot of them, but as soon as I approached they took off – ah well. 🙂
Lovely photo! 🙂
Thank you, Maysa!
Peaceful is good.
It certainly is!
Such a beautiful image. It transports you.
Thank you, Ali. It was such a beautiful spring day.
Beautiful, Eliza, wish I could have been there.
Thank you, Christina. It was a lovely park.
Unbelievably, the first time I saw a Wood Duck was not in North Country, but in Florida kayaking the Rainbow River. So tranquil Eliza.
Thank you, Kathy. It was my first sighting, we don’t seem to have any around here that I have seen.
So cool, green, and lovely.
Thank you, Laurie!
Such a beautiful and soothing scene, Eliza!
Thank you, Pete! If not for the city traffic, it would have been idyllic. But pretty nice for city dwellers, I reckon.
This is stunning, Eliza. Peaceful, too. I could sit and look at that scene all day. 🙂
Thank you, Robin. All it needs is a hammock. 🙂
Such peaceful reflections. It looks like a pleasant place to spend time reading a good book at.
I imagine so. It was a pleasantly designed park with lots of benches for sitting and enjoying the day.
Looks wonderful 👏
Lovely scene and reflections!🙂
Thank you!
What a lovely scene.
Thank you, Fi. Happy weekend!
Oh, Eliza, that is such a beautiful photo. Words fail me xo
🙂 Aw, thank you, Rebecca!
What a nice, calming picture. We don’t have as many wood ducks as we have had in years past. I think we may need to put in our own box next year.
Thank you, Sarah. Our sportsman’s club has birdhouse building sessions and when the boys were small (now grown), we had lots of houses. We need to get more. It might make a difference.
Our neighbor has one, so we always have a pair around. Usually there have been a few pairs, but not this year. I’m happy to give them a little encouragement!
Great colors Eliza!
Muchas gracias, Maria!
What a gorgeous shot!
Thank you, Alys!
🙂
So pretty
Thank you, Aria. 🙂
Just beautiful and serene💞💞
Thank you, Nathi 🙂
Welcome and have a great day!
