How very pretty.
Thank you, Anne. Cut flowers distract me from the wintery weather. 🙂
That beauty sure brightens up the day.
It sure does, and the scent is pretty nice, too. 🙂
Oh how pretty!!
Thank you, Donna!
Just what I need on this grey and colourless day! Pretty!
Thank you, Dale. Hope the sun shines for you soon. Grey gets old fast!
Thank you, Eliza. Was sure it was going to happen today but thus far… nyet!
🙏🏼
This flower is so beautiful! It’s no surprise that it is the favorite of my ex. ❤️
Thank you, John. It never fails to please!
👍🏻❤️
I can almost smell it! Lovely.
Thank you, Cindy. It is a heady scent!
How exquisite!
Thank you! 🙂

I love these Eliza
Thanks, Sheree. Their scent is so rich!
Heady even
More so with each new bloom that opens 🤪
Beautiful! From your garden or in a bouquet? Periodically I get bunches from Trader Joe’s and once in a while there is a lovely lily among all the others.
TJs is the place for cut flowers… I’m always happy with their freshness and reasonable prices. B surprised me with these. 🙂
Beautiful. 🙂
Thank you, Robin. Smells great, too! 🙂
A beauty, woth a lovely name. We had a clear night for stargazing last night but the moon was so bright I could hardly see any!
Thank you, Cathy. We finally had a clear night, too, after so many cloudy ones. With a bit of snow to reflect the moonlight, it was so bright out!
Oh my, I can almost smell the fragrance. 🙂
It fills the room… lovely!
I love the juxtaposition of the flower and your moon-in-the-trees header photo. It seems as though the flower truly is gazing at the stars.
So true, I hadn’t thought of that! Thanks, Linda. 🙂
Beautiful…and so wonderful on a Winter’s morn.
Thank you, Carrie. I enjoy cut flowers always, but esp. in winter. 🙂
Indeed, a stellar lily, and it’s not alone.
Its scent fills the room!
Happy Sunday! A great way to start the day.
Thank you! 🙂
My instant impression was watermelon halves.
Ah, yes, I can see that!
Tout est si merveilleusement touchant ici
Merci!
Perfect 😍❤️
Thank you, Susan!
Makes me hunger for Spring, Eliza … especially after the winter we’ve had. Gee, it’s been weeks I think since we’ve seen the sun.
I know what you mean. Today is the first sun we’ve seen in a long while. Back to clouds tomorrow, it seems. Grateful for today!
Beautiful flower 🙂
Thank you, Deepa!
Oh wow beautiful
Thank you, Karina. They are opening a bud or two a day, quite heady!
Always a wonderful choice!
Indeed, they cheer me up every time I pass by. 🙂
Very pretty. 😊
Thank you, Pepper!
A reminder that spring will come despite the rain! I will probably come home with a small African violet plant to add a bit of brightness…
Anything to brighten these dark days!
Yes!
A touch of summer, lovely!
Thank you, Belinda… fresh flowers get me through the winter!
Bright and fragrant! Thank you Eliza 💐
Thank you, Val! 🙂
So pretty!
Thank you… balm for wintery days. 🙂
Your close-up composition and the color are very striking! My initial reaction was ‘bam’! 😀
Ha, yes! Thanks much, Denise!
Lovely photo and flower, Eliza. A great treat for this time of year.
Indeed, cut flowers help me weather the winter! Thanks, Susie.
Ooohhh….that’s on my lily list for next year for sure! Aptly named!
Thank you, Julie. They are quite fragrant, esp. in the evening. 🙂
Mmm, i grow several scented lilies. I LOVE them, probably one of my all time favorite flowers! 🌺❤️
I love oriental lilies and used to grow them, but between the voles and the European lily beetles, I’ve given up. Florists’ offerings are most welcome!
Wow! Who knew?! Nothing bothers them here! And they replicate like crazy. Yep there are many things I cannot grow, but this is not one of them. 😛
