What a pretty bouquet! The cleome really adds something lighthearted to it.
Thank you, glad you liked it! 🙂
A lovely, bright, combination that rings spring bells for me!
Thank you, Anne, much appreciated!
Oh, so lovely!!
Thank you kindly, Trini!
Gorgeous bouquet Eliza. Beautifully done ♥️❤️♥️
Thank you, Dee! I just love my summer bouquets. I hope frost is late this year! 😉
For the joy of more fantabulous bouquets like that one, I hope frost will be very very late.
🙂
Divine 🌸🌸🌸
Thank you, Karen! x
Pretty! I have resisted picking Cleome all summer (those prickles and funny scent….) but with very cool temperatures overnight I may have to rescue the last few. 😃
Thank you, Cathy. Yes, gloves are essential when picking cleome. I don’t stick my nose in their bouquets, so I like ’em just fine! 😀
A perfect marriage!
Thank you, Allison! 🙂

Beautiful combination – the strong and the soft. Lovely.
Thank you very much, Judy!
Lovely burst of colour!
Thank you, Dale!
My pleasure! 🙂
Thank you for brightening my cloudy-morning, Eliza!

Beautiful floral arrangement Eliza!
Thank you, Reed!
A very nice pairing.
Thank you!
Nice to see a bouquet!
Thank you, Ellen. I am remiss in posting the ones I’ve been gathering this year. 🙂
Ever-plentiful Zinnias and gorgeous Cleomes. Do you save their seeds?
The cleomes self-sow and pop up on their own every spring. I just thin them or transplant to where I want them. I usually buy zinnia seed, but this year I’m going to try saving my own seed to see what comes from the pollinator crosses.
A winning combination!
Thank you, Laurie!
Love those cleome whiskers!
Hi Liv– thanks, I love them, too. 🙂
I can’t make myself pick my zinnias! But this is one gorgeous combination. Will picking them lengthen their lifespan, or should I simply let them go to seed for the critters??
Thank you, Debbie. Once an annual produces enough seed, it begins to shut down, so to keep the blooms coming, it is best to cut the flowers. I only leave some to go to seed at the end of the season for the birds.
Thank you for that info — cut flowers are beautiful, and prolonging the blooming is a great idea!
Delightful array 🥰
Thank you, Susan!
They go great together!
Thank you, Sandy!
Welcome!
Cleome is a charmer with those zinnias. I don’t see people use cleome in a vase often but it is lovely.
Thank you, Susie. It may be sticky and a bit stinky, but I love the look of cleome.
It’s a lovely – and very summery – composition, Eliza. I lost out on Cleome again this year despite sowing seeds. With the exception of Daucus carota, all the seeds I sowed outside my cutting garden failed to germinate, presumably due to our very dry conditions.
Thank you, Kris. I hope this winter will have decent rain for you. Drought is a harsh thing.
What a beautiful bouquet of late summer color and flowers. ♥
Thank you, Robin. This warm Sept. has helped keep them coming. 🙂
What a lovely bouquet!
Thank you, Carol!
A classic Eliza arrangement. Beautifully done, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve!
Such a pretty combination, Eliza. The Cleome gives it an airy feel.
Thank you, Jane. 🙂
This brought such a smile! Thank you Eliza 💛
Glad to know that– Thank you kindly, Val! x
Wonderful combination of colours and shapes!
Thank you, Belinda!
How pretty
Thank you, Karina! ❤
What a lovely, colorful bouquet! The arrangement is very artistic.
Thank you kindly, Barbara!

Thank you!
Lovely flower. So pretty.
Thank you, glad you liked it!
These flowers have as fancy names as they come! 😅💐
🙂 Thanks, Isha! x
