Absolutely gorgeous, Eliza.
Great shot
Thank you, Sheree!
You’re very welcome Eliza
Busy, busy, busy as the summer draws to a close. This is an evocative photograph, Eliza.
Thank you, Anne. There seems to an urgency to their foraging. They know what’s coming!
A wonderful photo here, Eliza. Bees on flowers-a couple of amazing subjects!
Thank you, Gary. I love watching and listening to bees as they work the flowers. Meditative!
Nice shoot pic.
Thank you…
🌼🥰🌼🥰
🙂 Thanks, Karen. ❤
The bees love Virgin’s Bower.
You bet!
Great capture Eliza! They are very busy right now 🐝🐝🐝
Thank you, Val! Yes, they are quite busy– they seem to sense the shortening days, time’s a-wastin’!
And, this is why we garden. 🙂
Yes, a happy reason it is.
“So much pollen…get as much as I can carry and then come back for more with my hive mates.”
🙂 Good thinking!
Wonderful capture!
Thank you, Dale!
As a bee! Know the feeling. 😉
🙂 Always!
white daisy like
as we await more needed rain
to ease the dry earth and heely pains
🙂
the eye of the beholder. my son dug up all the flowers that are in bulb nature.
Uh-oh! 🙂
yes even he gets manic. no need to panic tho.
Great capture! That bee looks so big compared to the flowers.
Thanks, Hien. Which proves that good things come in small packages! 🙂
They look so happy! ❤️
Yes, lots of pollen to collect this time of year! 🙂
That’s a wonderful photo. I do like seeing a busy bee!
Thank you, Ally. Bees always make me happy!
They seem to know Fall is right around the corner, don’t they? Great photo, Eliza!
Thank you, Debbie!
It must be so fascinating for you to be such a close and loving witness to their beautiful lives, Eliza! There’s poetry in your day to day life, and you celebrate it so well!
Thank you, Isha, what a lovely compliment! ❤
My pleasure and privilege always!
The bees are a daily joy.
They are indeed, thanks, Kris.
Beautiful flowers Eliza and so lovely for the bees! 💛🐝
Thank you, Xenia! x
Beautiful shot. I was about to ask the name of the flower but Steve seems to have answered my question already. 😊
Thank you, Irene. Yes, it is a common wildflower around here. And for future reference, I usually put the ID in the tagline. 🙂
Thanks for including the ID. I might have to start using your site as a reference.
🙂 Thanks for the compliment!
😊
Beautiful flowers. How nice to have them grow wild. Our wild clematis have very insignificant flowers but lovely seedheads… and are thugs!
Thank you, Cathy. These vines clamber everywhere, particularly by the river, but are reasonably well-behaved. It is the invasive bittersweet, knotweed, multiflora rose and honeysuckle shrubs that are the menace here!
So pretty! Two of my favourites 😊
Thank you, Belinda! I don’t know which I like more, the flowers or the seed heads. 😉
Wonderful capture!🙂
Thank you!
Glad to see it is busy in your garden!
Dawn to dusk! 🙂 Thanks, Donna.
Beautiful capture 🤗🌹❣️!
Thank you, Priti!
Fantastic shot! I love busy bees. 🙂
Thank you, Barbara! They are very busy this time of year.
That’s what I love to see!
Yes! 🙂

Thank you for reblogging!
I recognize the flowers right away as a Clematis but wouldn’t have known which species if you hadn’t identified it in your first tag.
I try to include IDs where I can. Thanks, Steve.
Superb.
Thank you, Prakaash.
Always love an homage to bees. Great shot, Eliza. 🐝
Thank you kindly, Jane. ❤
What a lovely little clematis – it looks perfect for the bees!
Thanks much!
