So dainty and unique… I love snowdrops…
Thank you, Anita. I love them, esp. since they are the first to bloom in the garden. A true harbinger of spring. 🙂
Better snowdrops than snow at this point! They’re beautiful.
Thank you, Linda… I must agree! 🙂
Snowdrops are so beautiful. In a vase, on a table, and up close is a wonderful way to fully appreciate them.
Thank you, Judy. I agree, it’s the only way to enjoy their beauty as well as their sweet scent. Much better than getting down in the mud! 😉
HA! I was just going to say the exact same thing that Linda did. No more snow, just snowdrops and I’ll be happy. You always pick the perfect vase. 🙂
🙂 Thanks, Steve! The garden year is officially open. 😉
Sweet
Thank you, Karina!
Lovely composition!
Thank you, Donna! 🙂
That is such a perfect vase of them. Down here, we have Snowflakes.
Thank you, I’ve yet to try growing Snowflakes. They’d probably do well… maybe this fall I’ll order some!
Beautiful image Eliza! Enjoyed seeing it!
Thank you, Reed!
just lovely
Thank you, Karen. x
Such pretty little flowers with an up-side down green heart. The perfect tiny vase. They are so hardy…2 weeks ago the temp.& windchill were down to at least 0°F, they were blooming…and survived.
Thank you, Alice. They truly earn their name!
Little beauties! And I really like how the white and green on the base echo the colors of the flowers.
Thank you, Laurie! Spring at last. 🙂
Great picture of lovely flowers.
Thank you, Vicki. Snowdrops kick off the garden year. 🙂
In Dutch, they are called: ‘Sneeuwklokje’…that is: ”little-snow-bell.’
Perfect!
The best kind of snow!
Yes, indeed! Drifts of these I don’t mind at all. 🙂
Beautiful snowdrops Eliza and what a lovely vase! xxx
Thank you, Xenia. It is a vintage toothpick holder, but it makes a perfect little vase. 🙂
The vase and flowers make for a pleasing pair!
Thank you, Belinda!
Such lovely little things. I don’t even try to grow them. Our temperature just reached 83F, which I hope isn’t indicative of an excessively warm spring.
Thank you, Kris. They cheer me up no end.
83 at the end of March… let’s hope it isn’t a trend.
You’ve got yourself one nice floral portrait there.
Thank you, Steve!
Lovely……. and the perfect vase to display the blooms too.
Thank you, Vicki!
Gorgeous close-up, Eliza. 😍🤍
Thank you very much, Jane. ❤
Oh, how beautiful! ❤
A version of snow without the chill-factor. 😉
Thank you, Joanne. When they show up, I know winter is over. 🙂
Gorgeous!
Thank you, Fi!
So very lovely.
Thank you, Sylvia!
Very beautiful and a lovely photo. I am trying to imagine their scent – lovely to have such tangible proof that spring is burgeoning.
Thank you, Carol. They smell a bit like honey, very sweet. Yes, Spring here has sprung, yay!
