Happy spring to you to Eliza. It can’t come soon enough.
A very beautiful photo and reminder of what is to come, and it is worth waiting for, no matter how long it takes.
So true – thank you, Cindy!
Thank you!!
❤
Hope spring brings good things your way, Eliza.
It is a wonderful time of year!
Yes, it is an optimistic time of year, full of hope and renewal. Thanks, Sandy!
Welcome, Eliza.
Ah, hope, it springs, eternal.
Indeed it does. Thanks, Cindy!
Thank you – we continue to hope that worldwide we will overcome the pandemic before too long.
My hope as well. Stay well, Anne.
Beautiful Spring image – may you have a wonderful Spring Eliza, full of newness and revival..
Thank you!
All thee best for spring, Eliza! Wishing you a most happy one! 🙂
Thank you, Pete!
Happy Spring, Eliza! Take care.
Merci, Louise!
Here’s to a great gardening season. 🥂
Hear, hear! Spread out before us like a banquet. 🙂
Just stunning, Eliza!! HORRAY!! Spring is here! xo
Thank you, Amy! At last. 🙂
You are welcome! xo
Beautiful! Happy Spring to you too, Eliza. 🙂
Thank you, Robin!
May many 🐝🐝🐝🐝🐝 enjoy the flowers!
Thank you, Alice!
Happy Vernal Equinox, Eliza. May we see those lovely blooms soon while seeking that fabled early spring. 🙂
Yes, indeed… thanks, Steve!
Thanks Eliza! And Happy Spring to you!
Thank you, Reed!
Your photo is a beautiful beginning to the season and I’m already waiting for the first wonderful arrangement and vase of the season!!
Ha, thanks, S! I rejoice at every new flower as it emerges. Hellebores are next!
Is that a photo from this spring? If so, you certainly way, way ahead of us. No matter when you took the picture, it’s a beauty. I can smell the lovely scent all the here in Maine.
Thanks, Laurie. No, we won’t see blossoms until May, like you. This is from the bulb show a few years ago. This year’s show got cancelled, so sad, all that work and no one to enjoy it. 😦
Beautiful Eliza! You have blossoms there already?!?
Thank you, Julie! No, this is from my archive, a bulb show from several years ago. Sadly, they had to cancel this year’s show, but a couple students made a video and put it on YouTube for those of us that missed out on this year’s spring tradition.
How gorgeous!
Thank you, Fi!
So hopeful!
Agreed! Hope you are well. x
Is it a Crabapple!? wonderful sight, flowers followed by sun. Hope you are well and celebrating the Equinox.
Thank you, Amy. It is a crabapple forced into bloom for one of the bulb shows held a few years ago. Today has been drizzly, but mild enough, and we took a short walk. The streams are gurgling with run off and the birds are singing their spring songs – hallelujah!
I am glad you are hearing spring..I seem to remember Crabapples are more like -May? worked in Chicago for a bit. Are you seeing Daffodils?
Yes, apples bloom in May, though I expect things to be earlier this year. I can’t believe the grass has started to grow here already, 30 years ago the snow would be in the yard until mid-April. Daffodils leaves are sprouting, as are the hellebore blossoms, and snowdrops and crocus are blooming now.
Enjoy!
Thank you!
Your photo is joyous Eliza and with all that is going on, I forgot equinox. The seasonal wheels keep on turning don’t they, even though there are many uncertainties, be they climate change, the pandemic and the economic repercussions.
It is important though to be mindful of spring/autumn and stay grounded where we can. Thanks for the reminder and cheerful picture, and I hope that you have lovely spring weather ahead of you,
Thank you, Carol. This is my favorite time of year, as the warm seasons lie ahead of us. This year I’m particularly grateful for the unfolding of spring as a welcome distraction and also proof that Nature and life goes on.
Gosh Eliza, nearly passed me by, with all that is going on in the world, and yet we had a lovely sunny day, if somewhat cool. Perfect image to celebrate 😊
Glad you caught and seized the day!
Just about:)
Delightful photo, Eliza! Happy Spring.
Thank you, Belinda!

Stopping by your blog for a dose of sunshine on this cloudy day. Lovely. I have a tree growing in my backyard similar to this (but in pink!) that just began blooming a couple of weeks ago. I was astounded by it. Yesterday, I walked up to it and stared at it for several minutes, just amazed at what grew.
Thank you, as always, for sharing :). Hope you are well ❤
What a lovely compliment, Shayleene, thank you! I’m envious of all the lovely fruit and nut trees that grow in CA. If only!
They are stunning! Now getting my orange tree to produce something other than flowers, however, that is an entirely different ballgame 😉
Happy equinox, Eliza. May spring bring you many happy hours in the garden.
It’s beautiful!
I wish the same to you, Eliza! I hope things aren’t as crazy in your part of the country as they are here.
Thanks Eliza … and thank goodness our gardens are there for us to enjoy, with promises for tomorrow!
Indeed, I’m spending time every day out there, the work relieves stress beautifully!
Thank you, Eliza.
Hope Spring increases your nature walks in the warmer weather. You’re lucky to have your wonderful garden to enjoy in these difficult times.
Thank you, Vicki. I’m glad to hear from you, you’ve been in my thoughts. These are challenging times, certainly, and I am grateful that it is spring and the last of the snow is all but gone. Take care!
Wishing you beautiful spring days on your property, Eliza, bathing in nature. 🌳🌸
Thank you, Jane. So grateful for the wilds that surround me!
How good to finally see some spring sights, just a shame it is overcast with all the worry but at least it is all there to lift our spirits.
True – thanks, Alison. Take care of yourself!
Wow – beautiful picture!🤩
Thank you, Tish!
A beautiful cluster and capture! Thanks for this bit of Spring. It snowed here yesterday and then melted pretty quick.
Thank you, Denise! At least when it does snow this late, we know it won’t last long.
