Silent Sunday

Even in our own yard the leaves are turning. Just starting to turn, and just starting to drop, but it suggests fall. The forecast is for 96 on Tuesday, but at least it won’t stay that way day after day.
Hope you get lasting relief soon. Think December! đ
…..sunlight, catching colors…..
Autumn light is wonderful. đ
Everyone is getting color except for us and Southern California. Ours is just now starting.
From what I hear, it’s still warm there. It takes a few cold nights to create these colors!
It is just starting to get cool by our standards, which does not mean much. It is even warmer in Southern California. . . . boring.
Those colours! I can see a jumper knitted in a Fair Isle pattern in those colours.
That would be very pretty, indeed. Thanks, Sandra!
Gorgeous capture đŋ
Thank you, Karen!
We are going through a windy, grey phase weatherwise, so this shot is lovely and cheering to see!
Glad to bring some sunshine, thanks, Allison.
Butterfly wings waiting for just the right wind to take off into the wild blue yonder. đ
I can see that đ
Gorgeous!!! đđđđ
Thank you, Trini!
Fabulous colours and their glow makes this pic appropriate for this week’s photo challenge too!
Thank you, Carol. You’re right, I should add the link!
wonderful capture of the autumn light
Thank you, Catherine. Autumn light warms everything it touches!
Beautiful light and colors. đ
Thank you, Robin. Happy Sunday to you!
Another glorious autumn morning! đ
Yes, it is. đ Thanks Joanna.
Great shot … love the deep color!
Thank you very much, Denise. The foliage on blueberries is stunning.
Beautiful, Eliza – you’ve captured the essence of autumn!
Hi Lynn, thank you! Hope you’re enjoying your autumn.
Leaving the north country last winter, I had forgotten already how great the high bush blueberries are in the fall. Here on Long Island we have zillions of low bush plants in the woods, but don’t see those lovely fall colors. Thank you for the reminder!
Thank you, Peter. They are pretty flamboyant, aren’t they?
Mmm… autumn’s light! â¤
Delicious, isn’t it? đ
Sure is! đ
More gorgeous fall color! I found a red leaf in the driveway today but that’s about the extent of the fall color here thus far.
Thank you, Kris. We’re right in the peak of color. Every day more leaves fall, soon the trees will just be silhouettes. Sigh. It’s a long wait until May.
Thought it was blueberries,lovely.
Good guess, thanks, Amelia!
Lovely autumnal colours, Eliza x
Thank you, Rebecca!
Autumn flame!
Yes, grateful to have this sort and not the other.
The glowing colors in this beautiful photo make me think of stained glass.
Yes, you’re right – it does have that luminescence. Thanks, Melissa.
The safest kind of flames! Lovely.
Yes! Thank you, Laurie.
Beautiful!
Thank you!
