Love that fresh green Eliza all shiny and new! Wonderful!
Thank you, Kathy. Spring is just the best season!
Creative and beautiful shot!
Thank you very much, Hien!
Very clever shot.
Thank you, Christina.
A great shot – the leaves look almost hairy!
The new leaves do have hairs to protect them and slow down transpiration
Very cool! I had no idea. I mean, I guess I had noticed sometimes, but I never thought about it.
The hairs drop off once the leaf cells harden. Nature thinks of everything! 😉
Beautifully crisp and a lovely contrast of green hues.
Thank you, Anne. Newly unfurled leaves are so lovely!

This image would make a beautiful embroidery…..
It would! 🙂
Ahhh… yes 🙂

Thank you, newborns! 🙂
Ooooh! Beautiful! I love the light and the colors. ♥
Thank you, Robin!
One of the most handsome of American trees!
Thank you, Peter. Beech (and sugar maples) are my favorite trees – their spring colors are the lovely!
Just perfect! 🍀🍃🍀
Thank you, Karen!
Beautifully colour and lighting.
Thank you very much, Belinda!
I take it that’s a young beech leaf with all those lovely hairs. But to get the dew or rain drops on it, too. Very sweet.
Thank you, Brenda. 🙂
A beautiful image Eliza!
Thank you, Micheal. Beech is such a beautiful tree. ❤
You’re so good at capturing the beauty in everything, Eliza!
Aw, I really appreciate that, Kris. Thank you!
Oh, that green!
Such a joy to behold!
It really is.
Love it! Beautiful light!
