nice picture!
Thank you, Nina!
You don’t have tulips already, do you? If so, climate change is a bigger problem than I thought.
Ha! no, these were forced – a gift from my son’s girlfriend. Tulips don’t bloom ’til May around here. 🙂
Whew! I was worried. 🙂
😀
Wow, beautiful! We don’t get tulips until May either. I love tulips. This is a particularly beautiful shot of one. 🙂
Thank you, Mary. Their petals can be like stained glass – so luminous!
That’s a really beautiful shot, Eliza. I love the way the light has turned the edges golden, and I love the shadows in the petals.
Thank you very much, Micheal, the color striations in the petals absorbed me every day while they lasted. I think I pay closer attention to ephemeral beauty because I know it is so fleeting.
So true. That’s when we stop and soak it in.
❤
So beautiful. What color.
Nature is so amazing… thanks, Gigi.
Gorgeous!
Thank you so much!
Sublime Eliza!
Thank you, Cindy. 🙂
Morning Eliza. What a gorgeous pic to start the day. 🙂
Thanks, Karen, glad to give you a boost! 🙂
Very sharp and colorful photo Eliza!
Thank you very much, Mike!
Gorgeous!
Tack så mycket, Fi! 😉
Good morning! Happy Thursday! 🙂
Thank you, Ana, and the same to you. ❤
So beautifully lit!
Thank you, Belinda!
A real beauty and a wonderful spot of color to have right now, inside or out.
Just the shot in the arm we need, I agree. 🙂
Such a beautiful, hopeful photo Eliza!
Thank you, Stephanie. These were on our cafe table in our sunspace while they bloomed and were such a delight to behold every day. 🙂
AMAZING COLORS!!! I can’t wait to show my stepdaughter this one.
Thank you so much! 🙂
Yes, she is really getting into photography, but does not know where to “start” to get kid pictures. I think yours are great- so clear and balanced. It will help her to see your work.
Thank you, I feel honored. 🙂
What do you mean by ‘kid pictures?’
Matches my sunset picture, lovely!
Thank you, Dorris!
Really cheery, can’t wait for tulips in the gardens and parks.
You’re not alone there!
Fantastic. Enough zing to get me though the afternoon!
Thank you, Allison. And the ‘zing’ is caffeine-free!
SPRING! I want you to know that even though I am in Florida I still look so forward to Spring at home and all its glory! Just so you know, when you travel to a warmer climate for winter, you will still rejoice in Spring. This photo is rejoiceful! (okay, I think I made that word up but sometimes there just are no words).
Thank you, Kathy! You caught my intention. 🙂
This photo could be included in a section on how to take a photo that is stunning. 🙂
Aw, thanks for your kind compliment, Judy. 🙂
Oh, glorious! Enjoy that sunshine Eliza! (Could you send some my way too? 😉 )
I’ll do my best to send some along. Thanks for your visit, Cathy. 🙂
How beautiful, tulips are just so nice. Great photo Eliza!
Thank you very much, Agnes!
*swoon* OH. MY. GOSH. I have tears in my eyes!!! Eliza, this is HEAVENLY!!!! ❤
Thank you SO much, Amy! 🙂
SO welcome, Eliza!!! ❤
The sun shinning through the petals, perfect!
Thank you, Brian!
Wow!! Gorgeous color and I love the way the light is shining through it so perfectly. Your image made me smile. 🙂
Glad to hear it 🙂 Thanks, Robin!
Wow Eliza-love that color!!!!
Thank you, Robbie. Won’t be long now before we see it in our gardens!
A little sample of things to come! Great photo, too.
Thank you, Lisa!
What a beautiful, translucent Tulip! Very nice!
Muchas gracias, Maria!
De nada.

Thank you, Ann. These tulips sure did cheer me up!
I just love that you can see the light on the edges of the petals like it was traced!
Thank you, Peggy!
