A mix of lime green flowering tobacco (Nicotiana alata) and Zinnia elegans ‘Envy’ with pink spider flower (Cleome hassleriana), coneflower (Echinacea purpurea), and zebra mallow (Malva sylvestris). Accents are mealycup sage (Salvia farinacea) and love-in-a-mist seed pods (Nigella damascena).

It reminds me of a fashion trend in the mid 1980s. Young ladies wore one lime green sock and one florescent pink sock.
Must have been a CA thing, the socks. I do remember the pink and green fashions in posh shops.
Well, it was popular with Valley Girl culture, which, contrary to popular belief, started in the Santa Clara Valley before becoming more well known in the San Fernando Valley.

Lime colored Zinnias are some of my Favorite!
Those and the Nicotiana are perfect for arranging with just about any color. Easy on the eye!
This is one of my favorite combinations, used as early as the 1900s-1930s in elegant glassware manufactured by companies like Tiffin; they called it ‘watermelon glass.’ I have a set of wine glasses: delicate pink bowls with lime-ish green stems and feet. Your bouquet has the same pleasing color and delicacy!

Haha, love your take on the Nigella! 😀 That Nicotiana I believe is a cross of N. alata and N. langsdorfii, both of which I grew last summer and this one came up at the base of a pale N. alata that grew near the other last summer. The pollinators do great work. 🙂
