My cats used to sleep in it!🐱
When I had outdoor cats, they did the same. I put a chicken wire box over the plant to keep it alive and they would sleep on top of it and eat what grew through the wire! No outdoor cats anymore, too many risks. 😦
I can barely remember when I had outdoor cats. They roamed around so freely, often visiting the neighbors!
I used to have a big Maine coon that would go next door and catch mice in the barn, then go sit under their bird feeder. The wife would be annoyed but husband loved that mouser!

The bees love this plant. I have an entire row of them and cut them back about a week ago so the bees could get a few more blooms this season. It’s definitely a good addition to a perennial garden.
It is a great perennial, strong performer and relatively pest-free, and best of all, the deer don’t touch it!
