A garden bouquet made with the first peonies (Paeonia lactiflora) of the season, with burgundy Geranium phaeum, white bleeding hearts (Lamprocapnos spectabilis ‘Alba’) and Anemone canadensis. The wild grass gives a meadow look to the arrangement and the hearts on the jug echo the bleeding hearts above. Have a great weekend!

All good things must come to an end, I guess. WordPress has decided to end its daily and weekly prompts, so we must move forward without them. It was fun while it lasted.
Here are a few of my favorites…

It’s nice to have vases of flowers cut from my garden once again. I’ve missed having them. Above are some mixed, sweetly-scented Narcissi in a deep cobalt vase.
Out front are a mix of Tulipa ‘Charming Beauty’ and Muscari ‘Valerie Finnis,’ which I was pleased bloomed together. The timing doesn’t always work so perfectly! With the weather being cooler than normal, they have lasted well. What bulb combinations have worked for you?
