always breathtaking!
Agreed, they are so amazing!
I swear they are alive Eliza. The energy you can feel coming from them. If you laid next to them I think they would speak to you. If you slept next to them, they would take you away in their dreams to a land far, far away 🤗❤️🙏
Absolutely!
It must be quite a thing to see those beautiful trees.
They are so huge and ancient, it is akin to a religious experience to be in their presence. 🙂
Glorious!❤️❤️
Yes, indeed. I just love being amongst these giants. 💕
Such majestic trees
Totally awe-inspiring, thanks, Sheree.
Amazingly super impressive.
Oh, they are that, for sure. I wish I lived closer!
Incredible trees. I’d love to see them one day.
I hope you do, words and photos cannot convey their true majesty. 🙏🏼
Simply stunning
Thank you, it was deeply spiritual, they humble me every time.
Redwoods are magical. It is the most incredible tree for sure. I always feel so calm when surrounded by them.
Yes, the hushed silence invokes such humility within, being in their presence is humbling.
Yes, very much so.
Such majestic trees!
Indeed, I’m always humbled by their presence!
Two of my favorite local natives use sempervirens as their specific epithet: Coral Honeysuckle (Lonicera sempervirens) and Carolina Jessamine (Gelsemium sempervirens). Its fun to see the same applied to these majestic trees, although ‘sempersempersempervirens‘ might be more appropriate!
Thank you, Linda. The grove is so majestic, truly a ‘cathedral of the pines’ – awed reverence takes over.
Gorgeous. I’d love to see them in person some day.
I hope you do, it is an experience that is hard to convey. Such presence!
Imagine being alive for over 1,000 years! Wise and beautiful, too.
Yes, definitely a reverent place. A living presence that you can literally breathe in. 💕🙏🏼
Fantastic Eliza. And welcome back! MJ
Thanks, MJ. We had a wonderful trip!
This seems to explain the two-week break you took.
You got it! 😀
Magestic! And beautiful.
Thanks, Dale. They strike me mute every time!
I can easily imagine
How fascinating it is to see these trees 🙂
Thanks, Anne. Their sheer size takes one’s breath away!
wow- so beautiful. i can feel their calm and power at the same time. thank you!
That is it exactly. Calm, ancient, timeless strength and power.
and your photo reflects that beautifully
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Wow!
The sheer size of them just bowls me over!
Nice job photographing them. You’ve done better than I was able to with my phone😂🌺♥️
Thanks, Bela. Always hard to convey their true size, they are truly massive!
Isn’t that just the occasional frustration of photographing such beauty? I find it here too. I mean some sunsets just blow the camera out with color. But then my backyard which is the most magical beautiful garden with astonishing colors and there’s no way I can photograph it to convey the feel of it.. I’ll have to wait for everything to get bigger so I can do a little snip snapshots. 🙃😊
Wow, they are fabulous!
Thanks, Cathy. They are positively majestic. 🙂
Amazing giants
They really are!
Such beauties Eliza! 🧡 xxx
Thank you, Xenia. I love these trees!

Such incredible trees! It’s been a while since I’ve seen them, but there is something special about being in their presence.
They move me every time. If only I lived closer!
