Looks like these plants are well settled. Beautiful colours. I am thinking about your Monday vase 😁

  3. Sheree's avatar Sheree says:

What a delightful garden you have!

  4. Lovely. I lost all my poppies, not sure why, but I miss them.

  5. Anne's avatar Anne says:

    So lovely to see 🙂 🙂 🙂

  6. Carrie's avatar Carrie says:

    Beautiful, Eliza!

  7. Nice! I am always looking for ideas for my new northern garden.

  8. Wonderful. Is that pink laurel? Fab!

  9. shoreacres's avatar shoreacres says:

I think I see your northeastern mountain laurel, but it seems to be more red than what I’ve seen in the past. Could it be a cultivated species? It’s gorgeous, as is the garden as a whole.

Thank you, Linda. The pink/red Kalmia cultivar (seen in the close-up) is ‘Carousel.’ On the hill in the background of the first shot, you can see wild white ones. ‘Borrowed’ landscape! 😉

Everything looks gorgeous! Double Poppies?!? I see Foxgloves…my patch is doing well…I have a Peloric flower on one, last year, too & a few years before that.

    • Eliza Waters's avatar Eliza Waters says:

Thank you, Alice! The poppies are tightly budded, just opening. I don’t think they are true doubles per se. I have one white foxglove with a peloric blossom at the top. They make me think of satellite dishes. 😉 They seem prone to fasciation, too.

  11. So lovely! Especially those poppies.

  12. Tina's avatar Tina says:

And what a beautiful shot it is!

    • Eliza Waters's avatar Eliza Waters says:

Thank you, Tina! Did you get it as a slideshow? And for some reason, WP put you in spam again, I’m glad I checked!

      • Tina's avatar Tina says:

I didn’t at first, but I think that’s because when I log on to your site, I’m a spammy character. So, I have to ‘follow’ as if I’ve never followed, close the site, re-load, then I seem to be able to like and post. That being said, for this comment, it all worked well, so yes–it’s a slide show! I love the pinks, mauves, and maroons and the close ups!

Sorry WP has you jumping through hoops… thanks for your persistence! 🫶
