🙂 Thanks, Dawn! x
What a strikingly beautiful combination!
Thank you, Anne!
Stunning
Thank you, Sheree!
You’re very welcome Eliza
Gorgeous!
Thank you, Sandra! Nice to see your comment. I hope you are well. 🙂
Lovely combination. Unfortunately, Monardo didn’t like my garden. The Swan neck is One of the most graceful plants.
Thank you, Brian. Monarda are enjoying the dry weather this year, powdery mildew is almost non-existent, thankfully.
Wonderful! Mine got frazzled, so lovely to see this photo to keep me optimistic about next year! 😉
Thank you, Cathy. Not a great year for the garden, for sure. Yes, hoping next year will be better!
Cute title and another sweet arrangement, Eliza.
Thank you, Steve!
Not what I was expecting, but very pretty.
Thank you, both are named after animals, so I just went with it. 🙂
No words needed. Great photograph.
Thank you, Twan.
Nice, and a good play on words. 🙂
Thank you, Judy!
I agree with Judy lol and it is so pretty how deep is your well?
Thanks, Eunice. Not sure exactly how deep, but probably about 250′ being a ‘newer’ well. We’ve never had an issue with water, but I still conserve in dry summers. Only two beds get soaker hose drinks. The rest are on their own, or I spot water if certain plants look desperate. I’m pretty amazed at the resilience I’m seeing.
I know right it must be true if you plant natives, they can survive easier.
What an inventive title and very lovely arrangement! (Made me think of Christmas colors…)
Thank you, Barbara. Yes, rather Christmasy!
Such soft and colorful beauty. 💜
Thank you, Carrie! 🙂
A great combo. Are Gooseneck controllable?
Thank you! They are no worse than bee balm. Their stolons are easy to rip up to control the size of the clump.
What a beautiful combination Eliza! ❤️
Thank you, Xenia! x
Haha! Love the play on words. Gorgeous bouquet.
Thank you, Dale… it just came to me that they were both named after animals. 😉
Beauty and fun! Who could ask for anything more?
Yes, so true! Thanks, Laurie.
Christmas colors in August. Do the bees enjoy loosestrife, with all those flowers?
Yes, the honeybees and bumbles seem the most interested in the loosestrife, not the solitary ones, but as you know, it is the bee balm that is the favored one.
Love it!!
Thank you! ❤
Hi Eliza. That looks like one of your beautiful vase arrangements – sorely missed this year!! I think we need some vases!!!
MJ
Thank you, MJ. I haven’t made many big ones this year… mostly littler ones for placing here and there, or to give to friends. No excuses! 😉
What a gorgeous combination that makes!
Thank you, Sandy!
Most welcome, Eliza.
This is a striking color combination — maybe I’m partial to red, white, and green?
Thank you, Debbie. Very Christmasy!
Absolutely gorgeous, Eliza! ❤️
(BTW, you got me with the title! 😉 )
🙂 Thanks, Donna, the title just popped into my head… seemed to fit. 😀
That’s an arresting pairing! Lovely healthy specimens. (Both plants are struggling to survive in our garden just now. We seem to have missed the rain again.)
Thank you, Allison. Not the best year, to be sure. Lots of hopes unfulfilled. 😦
What a beautiful bouquet Eliza!
Thank you, Cindy! 🙂
A lovely combination, Eliza!
Thank you, Kris!
What stunning flowers and arrangement. I love flowers they are a beautiful example of the grandeur of nature between the multitude of colors and the intricate petal design, they are so magical.
Thank you, Laura. I’ve always loved flowers for as long as I can remember. My first bouquets were most likely dandelions!
Lovely pairing!
Thank you, Belinda!
Always the striking clear photo images!
Thank you!
A delightful combination 💐
Thank you, Val! x
Great color combo!
Thank you, Ellen!
Red and white is a very becoming combination. I bet your your bees, butterflies, and birds like it as well.
Thank you, Tanja. I’d say the bee balm is definitely the most popular of the two, esp. with the hummingbirds.
It’s their favorite color! 🌹🥀
Gorgeous combination Eliza! I hope you are enjoying comfortable fall weather.
Thank you, Maria. It has been nice, though the next few days are back to more summery temps, which is fine by me! I know what is coming. 😉
❤️
A lovely bouquet!
Thank you, Adele!
A beautiful combination of style and color!🌺
Thank you!

That’s a great combo … one you certainly couldn’t get from a florist shop! Your arrangements are always so special.
Aw, thanks much, Denise! 🙂
The title attracted my attention – and the flowers go so well together, they are lovely.
Thank you, Carol. Catchy title, eh? 😉
A great combo, Eliza. Good for the holidays. 🙂
Thank you, Jane. A bit out of season, but certainly sporting Xmas colors. 🙂
Beautiful Eliza. How are you. You are coming on to winter and here in Aussie we are coming on to Summer 🙂
Thank you, Deepa. Yes, fall is on its way, though it still feels summery. Happy Spring to you!
This is awesome ~ the contrast in colors is nice, but the best is how the shapes complement each other, really a cool arrangement.
Thank you very much, Randall!
Gorgeous!
Thank you!
