Divine 🌼
Thank you, Karen. ❤
Lovely! Do you know what type it is?
Thank you, Cathy. I think it may be some type of cabbage white. The past two days I’ve seen a few mourning cloaks and whites. Happy to see butterflies and bees again, yay!
I wondered the same thing.
I think it is a cabbage white of some kind.
Marvellous
Thank you, Derrick. Hope you and Jackie are having an enjoyable spring.
We are, thanks, Eliza

Beautiful times two!
Many thanks, Judy!
A sweet little caller — lovely photo!
Thank you, Barbara!
Sweet little to visitor. Also, really like your header picture and tagline.

It looks like a skipper, but it’s unlike any I’ve ever seen. The design of its wing pattern is beautiful, and it’s interesting how it echoes the flowers’ stamens and pistil. Knowing how fast these fly, and how tiny they are, I’m filled with admiration for your photo. Might it be a morning capture?
No, late afternoon. It may have just emerged, because as you know, they don’t generally stay put or allow big looming things near them! Not sure what species it is…
Wow….you have butterflies already? That’s a beautiful combo!
Thank you– yes, the past two days I’ve seen a few butterflies, plus bumblebees and solitary bees. They are waking up!
A special photo! So perfect against the white daffodil petal…& it has a mohawk!
Thank you, Alice!
Great photo.
Thank you!
Wonderful photo, very nicely done!
Thank you, Hien! 🙂
🙌🏼🤩🤗🥰❤️
Thank you, Susan! 🙂
Beautiful, Eliza! So nice to see these tiny winged critters again!
Thank you, Debbie! The first butterflies of the season are a cause for celebration. 🙂
Great catch, Eliza! Somehow, a pollinator completes a flower, don’t you think?
Absolutely! One shot says it all. Thanks, Tina. 🙂
Good to see signs of life!
Yes, indeed, does my heart good!
Aww what a sweet tiny visitor Eliza! 💛
Thank you, Xenia. She was quite patient with this photographer!
Nice early butterfly, Eliza. A Mustard White, I think. Pieris oleracea.
Thanks for the ID, Steve!
A delicate perch for a delicate creature 🙂
Indeed– thank you, Kris!
A very tiny visitor! What a lovely shot and the daffodil provides a great sense of scale.
Thank you, Carol. A sweet little tiny dancer!
So now I have looked up the Elton John song and will probably have it on my brain for a while 🙂
Ha, yes! 😀
