Oh, nice!!!
Thank you, Laurie!
I am looking forward to planting zinnia seeds – as soon as the first rain arrives. You have shown us a lovely perspective of one, Eliza.
Thank you, Anne. I love my colorful zinnia patch so much and so do the pollinators. 🙂
Such a unique and creative perspective Eliza.
Thank you, Cindy!
Beautiful shot! I love this perspective! 💖
Thanks much, Diana!
Excellent. I like pictures that show another perspective.
Thank you, Rabirius!
Very cool perspective!
Thank you, Gary! I love hanging out in my garden. 🙂
This is a beautiful perspective!
Thank you, Maria. ❤
Lovely! A landing pad for the bees. 😉
🙂 Thanks, Cathy… or butterflies.

Thank you for reblogging!
Beautiful zinnia. Happy Sunday, Eliza.
Thank you, Judy!
Reminds me of a ballerina’s tutu!
Oh, yes, good analogy!
…just waiting for a Bumble Bee to excitedly collect pollen.
🙂 or a Monarch sipping nectar.
A side view makes a lovely aside in any discussion of the flowers.
Thank you, Linda… they have such a lovely form.
Aren’t zinnias the best? A staple in my cutting garden. Humble, reliable but still elegant with the greenish undersides of the petals.
Agreed, I can’t imagine summer without them (or garden fresh tomatoes 😉 ). It is interesting to note that the species name is ‘elegans’ … so you’re right, they’re very elegant.
A refreshing viewpoint!
Thank you, Barbara!
Interesting take!
Thank you, Diana!
prime purple
pimped like a pin up
truly royal and regal
🙂 Thank you.
yw thanks for sharing . my son has low water need flowers planted and they last for months. amazing.
Just fabulous!! 😍♥️🤩
Thank you, Susan! x
Hmm, interesting view. Kind of like what the butterflies must see when they come in for a landing!
Thanks, Debbie, I like that thought!
Love the delicate layered side view against that beautiful background!!
Thank you! My zinnia patch is a fun place to hang out these days. 🙂

The perfect landing strip for butterflies!
This patch is indeed a busy airport these days. 😉
A beautiful side view Eliza and their pink and yellow colours go so well together 💛
Thank you, Xenia. I do love my zinnia patch. 🙂
Lovely view Eliza
Thank you, Karina. 🙂
It’s Zinnia season! Nice, Eliza!
Thank you, Steve. 🙂
I also thought that it looks quite tutu-esque …
A garden full of ballerinas! 🙂
So lovely!
Thank you, Dale!
🙂
Love the side view. 😊
Thank you, Irene!
Interesting angle, very nice!
Thank you, Belinda… one of those momentary inspirations! 🙂
Ahhhhh. Lovely, Eliza.
Thank you, Alys!
We don’t often look at a flower from the side like this, I really liked it, Eliza. So many layers to a zinnia.
Thank you, Jet. A bit more interesting than the usual ‘face’ shot. The layers are perfect for hiding little insects. Smart little fellas. 😉
Beautiful! Have a happy long weekend!
Thank you, Bethany!
Great perspective; I enjoy shots of plants, flowers especially, from different angles and at differing phases of development. Nice post, Eliza!
Thank you, Tina!
Love the side view, Eliza. I often also get taken by the backsides of flowers when photographing.
Thank you, Jane. No matter the angle, flowers are always beguiling to me!
