Nothing says ‘Summer!’ like yellow and white. I especially like the sundrops; we have a couple of species of those, too.
Thank you, Linda. They do liven up the place!
Pretty!
Thank you!
Beautiful 🤩

Still standing, Eliza!

Who can resist the cheerfulness of yellow and white with a dash of blue? I love the simplicity of the feverfew daisies …
Thank you, Carol. The garden is sporting a lot of yellow these days!
Lovely and definitely sunny. 🙂
Thanks, Judy!
Such a “sunny” and most lovely bouquet!
Thank you, Catherine! x
So pretty and summery Eliza. What are the yellow flowers?
Thank you, Cathy. They are Oenothera fructicosa – Sundrops
Pretty!
Thanks!
As usual, a beautiful and artful arrangement.
Thank you kindly, Hien!
A very sunny bouquet. Are you experiencing the heat wave?
Thank you! Oh, yes, hot (96º yesterday) and humid, but a front is supposed to bring the temps down tonight, but I think the humidity may linger, alas. It has been hard to get any outdoor work done. I don’t know how my southern friends do it!
Very sunny indeed!
P.S. I ordered a new vase today. 🙂
Thank you, Joanne! I’ll look forward to seeing it filled with a lovely bouquet. 🙂
This arrangement makes me feel so light & happy!
Glad to it does… 🙂 I love sundrops and daisies.
So cheerful!!
Thank you, Jen!
Cheerful petals galore 😁 ‘Sundrops’ must be one of the prettiest flower names.
Yes! Thanks, Alice. 🙂
Oh, so pretty and one of my favorite color combinations. What are the yellow flowers
Thank you, Amy. They are Oenothera fructicosa – Sundrops. They have pretty much filled in the spare spots in my garden. But very easy to control, which works in their favor. 😉
That is my kind of bouquet! Beautiful, Eliza.
Thank you, Dale!
🙂
Beautiful combination! Are these from your garden?
Thank you, Cindy. Yes, the gardens are chock full!
Sunny, indeed! There’s a summer purity about a mix of yellow and white. Nice and refreshing!
I agree… Thank you, Tina!
Such lovely bouquet. I have been quite absent in the last 6 months but hopefully we will start exploring and travelling again so I will have new pictures to post. Actually, we did our first post today after being silent since October.
Thanks, so nice to see your comment here, Suzanne. Hope you are doing well… I’m off to check for your post!
Yes, we are well and fully vaccinated. We are only waiting for borders to reopened!

Pure bursts of joy.
Very cheerful! I hope you’ve avoided the heat in the east mentioned in today’s newscast.
Thank you, Kris! No m’aam, it’s been a miserable few days. But supposedly, the temps will drop to more ‘normal’ levels tonight, but I think the humidity and storms may be sporadic over the next few days. It is good to get the rain however!

It’s a lovely fresh combination. Love all the scale changes between the flowers and the evening primrose are like condensed sunshine.
