Truly exquisite!
Many thanks, Leah!
Frost’s etchings laid bare.
Thanks, Anne. Well put. 🙂
Winter’s coming! It rained 2 inches in two hours at The Holler. Unheard of , and more to come.
Wow, that’s a lotta water! The creeks must be gushing and thankfully, reduces the fire threat.
Hmm … looks like the frost got ’em.
Yes, dormancy reigns.
Lovely composition
Thank you, Derrick.
Love the colors with just a bit of frost. Lovely! 😁
Thank you, Irene!
This looks like art, Eliza! Beautiful.
Thank you very much, Dawn!
You’re welcome!
Jack Frost has definitely nipped.
He certainly has. And now I read we may see low 50s at the end of the week! Yo-yo weather!
Weird is the new normal.
Yup.
Very Nice Eliza! Love the frosty image!
Thank you, Reed!
Jack Frost is quite the artist, and you quite the photographer! 🙂 We have a beautiful winter wonderland this morning after yesterday’s freezing rain and additional 6 inches of wet snow!
Thank you, Joanna. I guess winter has tightened its grip in your area. Although we might see warmer temps by the end of the week. Here’s hoping!
Such interesting veins, all frosted.
Thanks, Alice. The contrasts really called out to me. 🙂
Autumn meets winter.
Indeed, it is coming on fast!
Icing on your fall season. We’re impatiently waiting for the first promised rain of the season at the moment. Mother Nature has spit at us periodically since late yesterday afternoon but my personal weather station has yet to register any measurable precipitation.
I heard that 2″ fell in 2 hours just south of you. Too bad that couldn’t get spread around a bit more evenly!
Frame-worthy
Thank you so much, Flower!
Beautiful shot.
Thank you, Brenda. Hope you’re staying warm!
LOVE! this one – all the lines…❤️
Thank you, Catherine!
Beautiful shot and love photos that capture the changing seasons!🙂
Thank you very much!
The colors and the textures and the composition all so cool, Eliza! Love this!
Thank you very much, Amy! ❤
Beautiful image Eliza.
Thank you, Karen, much appreciated.
Your’e Welcome.
Lovely!
Thank you, Fi!
Cold and beautiful 🙂 We are getting snow next week and are so excited!
Thank you, Maria. This be a great year for you to hit the slopes!
Yes it will 😊
Your eye for garden beauty, Eliza, it never ends, even when summer does. So lovely, thank you.
Thank you so much, Jet, how kind of you!
This is a striking and evocative image, and helps me appreciate how your low temps are starting to bite.
Thank you, Carol. It has been getting a bit colder every day. I dread the six weeks or so starting at year end where the temps never exceed freezing. Ugh, it gets old!
Sending you warm thoughts! I still can’t get my head around such cold temps for such an extended period of time. Hopefully you have some good books to read!
Thank you, Carol. I embrace the quiet time with no outside demands on my time, but I miss the freedom to go outside for long periods of time. Walks are short and brisk!
That scene is almost scary. Memorable though, those troubled blues.
Thank you, Albert. Death and renewal, the infinite cycle of nature. Fodder for next year’s growth. 🙂
Right, fodder. I keep forgetting.
🙂
Those curled leaves with their frost are such a great autumnal sight. Nice shot, Eliza.
Many thanks, Steve.
Love the way the leaves are curled. Autumn has pretty much gone here, to be replace with lots and lots and lots of rain.
Thank you, Alison. I’ve read that you are getting deluged. Stay high and dry!
Beautiful! I love the colors and the detail !
Thank you, Harold!
Brrr, crisp and frosty, this says it all.
Thank you, Jill. 🙂
Love this curly leaf close-up!
Thank you very much, Denise!
Great stuff Eliza, what forms!
Thanks, Maria. The different textures really spoke to me.
