A lovely composition Eliza.
Thank you, Anne.
Happy Sunday 💓
Thank you, Saania.
My pleasure
Beautiful autumn picture
Thank you, Brian.
Reblogged this on Purplerays.
Thank you for reblogging!
GREAT POST ELIZA, THE GARDEN LIKE LIFE EVOLVING IN TIME, CHINA
Thank you, China, and for reblogging, too. 🙂
Reblogged this on LIVING THE DREAM.
The seedpods are almost as beautiful as the flowers themselves. Did you have many monarch larvae this year? It was out best that I can remember.
Yes, I was so thrilled with the Monarch numbers this year. I’m cautiously optimistic that we can bring these back from the edge. Concerted effort by many is yielding positive results, hurrah!
I am also. This was a banner year. I couldn’t believe the number of visits we received and our driveway only has anywhere from 12-24 plants in different years. This was the best yet. It took some convincing for Mary Beth to agree that they could “take over” the gardens but she was happy to see the larvae too. Excited about next year.
I love these simple remnants left behind in the fields.
Same here. Even prettier with a dusting of snow. 🙂 Thanks, Claudia.
Beautiful seeds – such little things that promise so much magic
So true, little miracles. 🙂 Thank you, Karina.
Have a good Sunday, Eliza. I planted pink milkweed seeds yesterday. 🙂
Thank you, Judy! I like the graceful pods of swamp milkweed. Not as assertive as the field milkweed, it minds its manners. 🙂
The pods sure are bursting open and seeds escaping and blowing and looking beautiful in the sunshine.
Thank you, Alice!
Absolutely beautiful Eliza.
Thank you, Agnes!
Pretty, even in decline.
Yes, indeed. Thanks, Sandy!
My pleasure, Eliza.
The pods have a beauty all their own. Lovely shot!
Thank you, Belinda. I love milkweed pods after the seeds have flown, so architectural.
So pretty Eliza! You’ve captured fall in such a lovely way.
Thank you very much, Cindy!
I see I’m right by your tags — this is milkweed! What a lovely photo, Eliza!
Thank you, Debbie! In this case, swamp milkweed (Asclepias incarnata).
I love that you and your camera capture beauty in all its manifestations.
Thank you, Kris!
What strange creatures be these, freed from their lifetime of bearing the next generation? What dreams will bring to life? 🙂
🙂 Sweet comment!
🙂
So pretty! I am one of those weirdos who loves the November landscape—frosty and brown and waiting.
Thank you, Laurie. I don’t think you’re weird, if anything, I’m envious. You’re embracing the status quo, whereas I’m resisting it, which is not healthy!
Well, we like what we like. I find the russet and gold of November soothing. Wish the nights weren’t so long, but you can’t have everything. 😉
IKR? 😉
A stunning composition!
Thank you!
Great photo subject and capture!
Thank you, Denise! The gold and brown of late fall can be quite pleasing.
Regeneration, or transformation is what comes to mind when I see this image. The law of life.
Thank you, Maria. Yes, the cycle continues.
Fly little fuzzies, be free, and may you land in rich soil! Beautiful, Eliza!
🙂 Thanks, Julie. I think the same thing!
