GREAT PHOTOGRAPH ELIZA, CHINA
Thank you, China!
Reblogged this on LIVING THE DREAM.
Thank you for reblogging!
Beautiful, Eliza. Is this a sunflower bud? I tried sending you an invite but your email rejects it!
Thank you, Dawn. It is a sunflower about to burst open.
Invite??
If you can’t see my posts I’ll sort it out in about a week.
It’s spring soon and wild orchids are blooming! Would love to share the pics with you!
I sent a request in… Looking forward to seeing the wildflowers!
Wonderful about to bloom capture Eliza!
Thank you, Cindy. We’re ready and waiting!
Unfolding beauty 🌼☀️🌼
Yes, indeed. Thanks, Karen! ❤
A promise of ‘sunshine’ within and seeds for the colder weather ahead.
The birds, particularly Goldfinches, have already found the first ripe seeds and are relishing the heads as they ripen. Their twitters are heard all day long … garden music. 🙂
Stunning shot, Eliza…
Thank you, Anita!
A beautiful capture Eliza, with a glimpse of the flower ready to greet the world 🤗💖🌻 xxx
Thank you, Xenia! Anticipation!
Pretty – yours are a bit further ahead than mine:)
Thank you, Karina. I’ve found that the ones that self-sow from last year, come up first and flower first (of course) than when I try to guess our frost-free planting date, which changes year to year, a moving target. I’m toying with trying to sow a bunch in the fall and hope the critters don’t find and eat them all. Naturally, they’d be their own bee-created hybrids, which might not be all that bad. 😉
I love that term bee-created💜
Love this shot! Makes me want to keep staring at it until it opens up. A sunflower bud with the promise to be beautiful. 😊
Thank you very much, Irene! I’m anticipating as well. 🙂
Excellent.
Thank you very much!
Gorgeous detail, Eliza, I love the peek-a-boo effect! 🙂
Amusing…”peek a boo” was what I was going to write!
😀 Yes, I can see it, too. Thanks, Donna!
A l m o s t ! Follow up photo requested, please!
Hope I can… we’ll see. 🙂
Getting ready to burst open. Love ’em!
Thank you, Laurie!
Beautifully done Eliza!
Thank you, Pete!
Lovely picture of an incipient sunflower!
Thank you, Lisa! (good word!)
Beautiful!
Thank you, Cindy!
Stunning! I’m such a huge fan of sunflowers! ❤
Thank you very much, Julie. Their ‘faces’ are perfectly formed and always cheerful. 🙂
A-MAZ-ing! So many petals just ready to unfurl. Gorgeous shot, Eliza! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Thank you very much, Amy! ❤
Outstanding shot, Eliza!
Thank you, Leah!
That is an escapee from The Little Shop Of Horrors film set! 🙂
I know, right? 😉
😀 Feeeeed me, Seymour!
😀
Ready to burst!
Yes! 🙂
Sweet anticipation!
Indeed – the sunflowers are the tall sentinels of the garden right now. 🙂
love the shape of that un-opened bud ! thanks Eliza !
Thank you for your visit, John!
Wow!
Thank you, Jennie!
You’re most welcome, Eliza!
I always love seeing photos of a blooming sunflower, but after this fabulous photo I now know I also absolutely love the sunflower waiting to bloom!
🙂 Thanks, glad you liked it!
What an unusual and effective take on a sunflower. It almost reminds me of an artichoke 🙂
Thank you, Carol. I can see that, too. The anticipation is equally delightful for both.
It’s one of the nicest moments for photographing sunflowers. Beautiful!
Thank you, Maria!
