    Those tall sunflowers are looking beautiful. Do you let them go to seed in the garden, or keep the seed for birds during winter? I am finding that, as our winter comes to an end, birds seem to be on the lookout for nourishment more than ever.

    They make me think of ‘Little Weed’, a character in an early children’s TV programme (from the 1950s, called ‘The Flowerpot Men’) It looked just like a sunflower. 🙂
