Happy Halloween!

Somehow black and white photography adds that extra, slightly sinister, edge. I hope you enjoy Halloween too, Eliza!
Thank you very much, Kris!
Happy Halloween Eliza ๐๐๐๐๐ธ
Thank you, Karen! ๐
We don’t have a strong Halloween tradition here and I don’t really get it, but I hope yours is happily spooky! The lichen on those headstones really adds to the atmosphere of the photo.
Thank you, Carol. Said to have been brought over to the US with the Irish immigrants (Samhain), it has grown in popularity enormously in recent years. As a kid, dressing up and getting candy was the best!
Happy Samhain (Halloween) Eliza
Thank you, Karina. Enjoy your evening!

Thank you, Alice!
To you tooooooo
๐ Thanks, Sherry!
And the same to you! Wish we had trick or treaters, but we live too far out in the country. Sniff!
Same here, we have to go into the village to see munchkins. ๐
Happy Halloween back at you! Great tombstone shot!
Thank you, Peter!
What a perfect picture for the holiday. Happy Halloween!

Thank you, Robin!
Back at’cha! ๐
Thanks!
Miss walking through those old cemeteries. ๐
The old ones are historically interesting, and of course, a bit sad. Life was dicey back then.
It surely was. Is now! ๐ฎ๐
Yes, man vs. nature, in varying degrees. ๐
Yours too.
Thank you!
You find the most amazing lichens growing on old gravestones, they make wonderful designs.
It’s true. It adds to their mystery and age. The newer polished granite ones are too smooth for lichen to hold onto.
Great post! Pls check mine out would mean a lot to me ๐๐ https://poisedprodigy.wordpress.com/2018/10/31/happy-halloween-heres-what-you-need-to-know-about-witch-trials/amp/#click=https://t.co/qXBXlL31iI
Thanks, Malosri!
Love the photo Eliza! Old cemetery stone markers are certainly creepy and surprisingly calming at the same time. Love the lichen!
Thank you, Kathy. It’s fun to wander through these old stones, what stories they tell.
P. S. Hope you had a spooktacular Halloween!
Yes, thanks!
Boo-tiful!
๐ Thanks, Fi!
