Congratulations! The photo is certainly deserving of the title County Living, it is gorgeous. ☺
Thank you. I do love where I live!
Beautiful and peaceful place, great shot !
This is your house or an neighbour of yours ?
Thank you! It is not my house, but close by. It’s a hike we make a couple times a year. We especially like it in the fall to see the colorful trees.
Is that your house Eliza? Great shot.
Thank you, Dor. Not my house, but a view I’ve known all my life. It’s a decent hike to get there, and I hope I’ll be able to make it for at least a few more years!
Very peaceful
Thank you, Derrick.
Do you have a drone? 😹🙈
No m’am, my feet carried me there!
What a beautiful example of nature’s complimentary colors…..purple & yellow-green!
Is that shot taken from Pony Cliff?
Yes, it’s a classic, isn’t it? I think about getting photos of all four seasons, but I can’t get myself to take the hike in winter. At least, not so far! 😉
You must be so pleased to have the blanket of snow sloughed off at last.
Yes, I am quite pleased it is spring!
What a great view!
Thank you. Wren loves that hike, too!
I’m sure!
Things are greening up:-)
Yes, I love that color green when the maples flower.
So nice…
Thank you!
beautiful!!!! Oh that is truly paradise. Were you hiking when you took this shot?
Thank you, Robbie! Yes, it’s a steep hike, but with that view as a reward on such a gorgeous day, it was a sweet treat! Thanks for your visit. 🙂
Great shot, Eliza. It’s such a beautiful scene, and a wonderful look at how the green is spreading across the landscape. 🙂
Thank you, Robin. It’s a bit of a climb getting up there, but that beautiful view makes it worth it. 🙂
Beautiful area to live around Eliza! Keep hiking 🙂
Thank you, Karen. I will as long as I am able, even if it is more slowly. 😉
What a view, I love seeing that green shimmer start to appear. It will go quickly now, I’m excited but always a little sad to see it move so fast.
Yes, same here. A practice for presence. 🙂 It is a short time before bloom and leaves unfolding. I love it all!
Oh, I looooove it!!! 😍😍😍. I want to live there!! 😄😄
It is a great blessing, for sure. Thanks, Trini. ❤
A very bucolic scene and you’re lucky indeed!
Yes, I feel quite fortunate to have lived most of my life here. I love it greatly!
What a view!! You made my day, Eliza. I always see you work and I am reminded to “Pay Attention” to the life around me 🙂
Glad to know that, Kim. You get why I post. ❤ 🙂 Spreading the love!
I love the subtle bloom of maple trees. The chartreuse of the sugars and the pink/red of the red maples. That fresh little flush of spring. Also, love the new header Eliza – blood root! This year instead of saying I have been wanting to add that to my garden I can say I am enjoying its blooms!
Yay, glad you got some bloodroot. They are one of my favorite spring ephemerals. And the ants generously propagate it for me. It sometimes turns up quite far away, little surprises here and there. 😉
More burst-into-song scenery. “The hills are alive….” What a view!
Haha, I must admit that verse runs through my head a lot these days! 😉
I can see why!
Let me know if that property comes up for sale. I will move there and become your nosy neighbor!
Haha, you wouldn’t have a lot of privacy with all the hikers with binoculars watching your every move. 🙂
Yikes! Well, running around in my speedo should remedy that. haha.
😀
Beautiful picture and lovely the way the house seems to be embraced by its surroundings.
Thank you, that is a nice way of looking at it, embraced by nature.
Looks like you captured a photo of the elusive Shangri-La.
Maybe! 😉
Oh this scene you captured looks so peaceful 🙂 Yes please!
🙂 Thanks, Christy!
