The face in the crowd that catches your eye…
Great pop of color as winter hangs on!
Yes, indeed… and on, and on… ๐
yes!!!!
๐ โค
โค What beauties! โค
Aren’t they lovely girls? ๐
OH, they are lovely! ๐๐ธ๐๐ธ๐๐ธ
Thank you, Trini! ๐
Wonderful! (Strawberries and cream…) ๐
Yes! So lovely. ๐
Oh, Oh, Oh, I can’t wait for Spring!
Right around the corner! ๐
Just what the doctor ordered!
Yes, indeed! ๐
I guess you went to the bulb show! ๐
Actually from the archives – want to go though, just need to find a good day and time. ๐
So pretty!
I got some unopened daffodils yesterday – they were starting to open this morning. I’m looking forward to seeing them after work (or tomorrow morning, or whenever the open up!).
They go fast. If you want them to last longer and have space in your fridge, you can put them in there when you’re at work or asleep and you may get a couple extra days out of them. ๐
Good idea! Right now, just a few are out – I think we may get a nice, long set of blooms from these ones. I may not need the fridge!
An unusual marked tulip.
Yes, I thought so, too. Quite striking!
Beauteous!
Thank you, Cindy!
Our summer is not ending either Eliza! I will send you some warmth! Lovely colors today ๐บ๐น๐บ
Thank you, Karen. Much appreciated! โค
Such lovely flowers!!!
Happy women’s day Eliza! ๐
Thank you, Aishwarya and Happy Women’s Day to you as well. May love, peace and justice prevail!
Looks like somebody is still celebrating Valentine’s Day! What gorgeous color โค
Thank you, ๐ it does look like that, doesn’t it? Taken at the bulb show. ๐
Such lovely colors in such beautiful flowers (or should that be vice versa?). Happy International Women’s Day, Eliza!
Thanks, Kris, same to you!
Terrific burst of color and Spring! Thanks Eliza ๐
My pleasure – thanks, Val. โค
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.
Thank you for reblogging!
Everything is coming up … tulips?
At the bulb show it is! ๐
Beautiful. ๐
Thank you, Robin. ๐
So beautiful and spring-like!
Yes, at least there is spring INSIDE!
What subtle markings and shades. It looks as if these tulips are under cover and enjoying it ๐
There is a bulb show at the local college every March. It is two greenhouses chocked full of pots that are not only lovely, but the fragrance is amazing. We look forward to it every year.
So perfect, Eliza! I love your new header as well (or maybe it’s just new to me, because I’ve had such a long break!) xxx
Thank you, Cathy. I just changed it last week, thanks for noticing. ๐
Just adore the vibrant Reds!!
We really crave color in the dull days of winter. Thanks for your visit!
Pleasure Eliza…
BIG sigh! Are your tulips up already, Eliza??? Mine have begun to grow but now we have a cold snap which has stopped all progress. Bummer!!! I’m panting for that color in my garden! โค
Thank you, Amy. This was at a bulb show (greenhouse forced). We still have patchy snow and of course, this frigid wind roaring through today!
Oh wow! We had horrible winds here, Eliza, and in fact we made world news. We had gusts of 80mph winds which seriously were scary. My cats were freaking. No damage done on our property but I had a husband to contend with who was excitable to say the least. Just trust in God, I kept saying. And sure enough, we were spared. Yes, it is frigid here as well. Too cold, in fact, for me to even go for a walk. No way!
Stay warm! โค
I am, Eliza. Thank you. โค
I love red!!!! beautiful:-)
Thank you, Robbie. The bulb show was wonderful again this year. Balm for the winter-weary soul!
I would love to have more tulips in my garden but the squirrels steal my bulbs. I do have luck in the backyard, but not the front. I do enjoy tulips:-)
Same here, rodents and deer love tulips, so I tend not to waste my money on them. Occasionally, I’ll pot some for forcing, but I have to cover the pots to keep the mice out. Little devils!
