This is my ninth Walktober, wow! Thanks to Robin at Breezes at Dawn for hosting these many years. She invites us to get out to enjoy the autumn weather and gorgeous colors nature provides:

“The rules are quite loose.  You can walk, run, drive, swim, bike, do whatever you need to do.  You don’t have to go anywhere.  A tour of your yard works just fine.  The idea is to get outside but if you need to be indoors, that’s fine, too.”

How easy is that? As this autumn has been particularly beautiful with the best foliage I’ve seen in possibly decades, I am grateful that I didn’t have to wander far to enjoy it. The photo above was taken on a drive we took around the surrounding hill towns, but the rest are from my own yard.
