Beautiful
Thank you, Abdul!
My mother used to grow these when I was very young; my father often teased me by insisting they were ‘rude Beckies’ 🙂
🙂 Ha, your dad had a good sense of humor.
That’s a delightful image, Eliza! Your yellow and white combos always look so fresh and vibrant.
Thank you, Allison. This is my lawn ‘mini-meadow’ – always a changing scene as things come and go.
Mine are blooming too, and I’m enjoying their pretty little faces.
They are so sunny and cheerful, and useful to pollinating insects and birds as well.
A gorgeous photo Eliza. 😃
Thank you, Cathy! 🙂
Very sunny and cheerful! 🙂
Thank you, Barbara!

Thank you for reblogging!
Love me some Black Eyed Susans (yeah, yeah, Rudbeckia 😉 ) Lovely!!
🙂 Rudbeckia is shorter, hehe! 😉 Thanks, Dale!
It is 😉
daisy to aster
in order ta void disaster.
🙂
Lovely and cheerful!
Thank you, Debbie!
Lovely photo of another favorite!!
Thank you! 🙂
They are so happy! 😬
Sunshine personified! 🙂
So pretty. I wish they thrived with less water.
Thanks, Kris. I always think of them as drought tolerant, but I guess not THAT drought tolerant. 😉
Every flower has pretty power!
Yes, indeed! 🙂
A beautiful photo of these gorgeous flowers Eliza! 💛
Thank you kindly, Xenia! x
Rubdeckia flowers are underappreciated, even by deers, which is fine with me.
Ah, yes, deer (and rabbit) resistance is a high priority for this gardener, too. Thanks, Hien!
Such cheerful flowers! 🙂 Great snap!
Thank you, MB!
What a happy, summer picture! Nicely shot, Eliza!
Thank you, Tina!
We had a fair number but over time most of our Rudbeckias disappeared. I am now trying to reestablish a few that I purchased from Nasami. I hope ours become as lovely as yours. I can’t think of another flower that says summer louder than a Black-eyed Susan.
Along with poppies, I’ll save some seed for you, too.
Thank you, Eliza. Wish I had more to offer you.
De nada!
So pretty against the green background!
Thank you, Belinda!
Is this in your garden? It’s very beautiful, happy colours!
Thank you, Maria. It is a part of my lawn that starts out with spring bulbs, whose foliage can’t be mowed until June. Then all these lovely flowers showed up and now it is a lawn meadow that only gets mowed once a year. Works for me! 😉
Wonderful!
I love a mixed bouquet, and nothing’s better than a meadow mix!
I agree– thanks, Linda!
So pretty! One of my favorite flowers. 😊
Thank you, Irene!
Lovely and how nice to allow a meadow-like space instead of manicured lawn.
Win-win! 🙂
Sunshiny pretty!
Thank you, Donna! 🙂
Such a sweet summer capture 💛
Thank you, Val! x
Decent flower.
Thank you!
Black-eyed Susans are one of my favorite flowers. They’re so sweet and humble, bright and sunny. This is a lovely photograph, Eliza.
Thank you very much, Jet, they truly are. So glad you liked it!
Such a gorgeous pic and it’s beauty
Thank you
Welcome 💖
With Rudbeckia you’re in Texas territory. I think my mother might have planted black-eyed susans when I was a kid in New York.
I think they grow everywhere!
I love the delicacy of this shot – how it shows Rudbeckias in a new light.
Thank you, Susan. I love them in the meadow with fleabane. Such great self-sowers.
Really live the left focus and softness to the right
Thank you!
I love these flowers Eliza. Just my kind of flower
