Broken and whole âī¸đâī¸
Yes, exactly! The tree does its thing and feeds others, too. Nature’s generosity. â¤
Autumnal hues
Yes, frost is in the air!
This is BEAUTIFULLY captured – worthy of framing!
Thank you so much, Anne!
So pretty, did you take this photo in my backyard ?;)
Yes, I snuck in and out when you weren’t looking. đ
A season of living…
Yes, the seasons are changing… we had our first frost last night. đĻ Sad to see the annuals are done. At least we have fall foliage to look forward to.
Yes, we do!
A life well lived!
Indeed! đ
Gorgeous
Thank you, Derrick.
Beautiful! Your changing seasons. â¤
Thank you, Joanne. Trying to focus on the beauty and not the plunging temps, ha!
Beautiful photo!
Thank you, Hien!
Like the photo and also like the header shot. đ The maples are turning up here and are beautiful. Now, if only the changing of the season would bring some moisture. đ¤
Thank you, Judy. A bit of rain would be good. Now that frost has ended my annuals, my focus will be changing to fall and winter activities. Parting is such sweet sorrow!
You said it! đ
Yes, and here it comes…….always a bittersweet time of year.
Yes, it is… seeing my frosted garden is hard! I’ll mourn for a day or two, but I’ll get over it. đ
There’s always next year…….:-)
God willing! đ
Frost đ¤đŗđ Oh, no! I think it only got to 49° here. Something likes nibbling maple leaves. Have had some Hummingbirds passing through, which is certainly fun.
Yes, the season of change is upon us, alas. My zinnias are done, wah! These cold nights can’t be good for the hummers, I expect they are getting out of Dodge, pretty quickly. Lots of other migrants winging through, too.
So pretty photo shoot. Beautiful
Thank you!
The color is subtly changing – so beautiful!
Thank you, Meg!
Fall is here. Those lovely leaves tell the story.
Yes, they do. đ Did you get a frost?
Not at our home in the woods, but others have.
I love fall colors. Beautiful!
Thank you, Sandy!
Sure!
Things getting autumnal there too:) Love the way the light is coming through the leaves.
Thank you, Karina. It’s been quite cool lately, refreshing after such a hot summer.
We’re turning autumnal, too. It was down to 72F last night! There are some slight changes appearing, but it’s changes in light that is causing them, rather than changes in temperature. I’ll be SO glad when we get a bit of real coolth, and some leaves as lovely as yours.
Thank you, I hope things cool down for you as well. We only have 72 degrees at night during heat waves! đ
Shew – frost already! However, should help precipitate a lovely colourful autumn? Your photo illustrates a beautiful beginning …
Thank you, Carol. With CC we got used to a pushed back frost date. This year it is right on time. Our foliage generally peaks in about 3 weeks. The colors are starting to shift towards yellow already.
Enjoy the beautiful autumn even though it is the prelude to winter …
Thank you, autumn is so pretty here, many of the leaves are already showing color.
Ahhh, the size of the crookneck squash and the changing leaves portend fall. Our temperatures have gone very cool for September–I expect this sort of thing in the latter half of October. Early winter?
I hope this is just an anomaly, but who knows? I would love a few more warm days, puleez!
Me too!
Translucence intensifies colors.
Yes, reminds me of stained glass.
Autumn is well and truly here, your capture is beautiful!
Thank you kindly!
Lovely shot, Eliza! The seasons are certainly moving along…
Thank you, Belinda. It feels too soon, but then, I say that every year!
The season is a-changing, at least in your part of the country.
The leaves portray the eloquence of autumn. They are beautiful!
Thank you!
Things are changing early and fast now. Most likely the drought is bringing the colors faster. Imperfect Leaves are beautiful too.
Yes, indeed. That cold spell accompanying the drought is the recipe for rapid color. Enjoy!
