"To me, photography is an art of observation. Itβs about finding something interesting in an ordinary place. . . Iβve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them." β Elliott Erwin (Documentary photographer)

Aren’t they beautiful!
Thank you, Cindy! π
Reblogged this on Purplerays.
Thank you for reblogging!
Those tulips are such a lovely colour, unusual too, I think…
Thank you, Anita. A variety from the Viridiflora class, they deserve more attention for their excellent traits.
Such a lovely colour
Thank you!
π
The Tulips have kind of a wild attitude! Pretty with the Candytuft!
Thank you, Alice! I do love a wild attitude. π
Beautiful flowers and the contrast makes them even more interesting …
Thank you for sharing π
Thank you, Sreejith!
Isn’t this an unusual colour for tulips? Very pretty!
Thank you, Maria. This is a class of hybrid tulips called Viridiflora, strong performers and well recommended. This one has returned several years for me.
A particularly attractive photograph this is!
Thank you very much, Anne!
Gorgeous!
Thank you, Phao!
Beautiful!
Gracias, Maria!
A wonderful color combination.
Thank you, Laurie!
I’m envious again! I love striped tulips.
Thank you, Kris. Climate envy goes both ways! π
Wow, Eliza. What a spectacular tulip! Are tulips still blooming now? Ours were gone a long time ago. We have finished off almost all irises and it seems to be the season for lilies.
Thank you, Mike! We’re about two months behind you, I think. The tulips have gone by, our bearded iris are peaking, the Siberian iris just started, as did the peonies, which are a highlight in my gardening year.
Well, it sounds like you are definitely at least a month behind us for sure. We have moved a bit too quickly for my taste into summer-like weather–it has been hot and humid a lot.
The humidity of the South is legendary. While we get a few hot and humid days, New England summers are generally quite pleasant. It makes up for our cold winters!
Ohh so lovely! Thank you for sharing.
Thank you, Luda!
Lovely color on the beautiful petals!π
Thank you, Susan! These are probably my current favorite tulip… thinking of getting more this fall. π
I love the gorgeous unpredictability of their petals and shape.
Thank you, Lisa. They remind me of small parrot tulips (but are much more manageable).
Very pretty when open too, but the bud shape was really stunning.
Thank you, Cathy!
You grow the most beautiful flowers and so many varieties … WOW!
Thank you, Denise! Flowers make me very happy. π
Very Colorful Eliza! Great image!
Thank you, Reed!
So pretty against the background of white flowers!
Thank you, Belinda! The combo lasted about two weeks, so I was thrilled.
Just as lovely open as budding. As pretty as the blooms are, I like the leaves with those nice edges.
Thank you, Steve. I think I need a few more. π
So pretty!
Thank you, Caroline!
Gorg. Gorg. Gorgeous!!!!!
π Thanks, Dee!
