Fat Snowflakes
Rather difficult to show, but today, fluffy snowflakes fell all morning, some were quite large, almost 1/4″ in diameter. Later, when the clouds parted, they were extra sparkly in the sunshine. I’m sure the photos don’t do them justice, but I had to share them.

Like crunched diamonds…..I love when the trees sparkle as well. (This was a ‘found’ post…not in my in-box…..)
Thank you, Alice. With the warm days ahead, we’ll be heading into ‘corn snow’ of spring.
Capturing the beauty in the ephemeral is truly a strength of yours.
Thank you so much for the lovely compliment!
Spectacular! Wish we had some of those in our neck of the woods. It’s bone dry and windy. Blech.
Thank you, we’re getting yet another storm today. Winter will be with us a while longer it seems.
So jealous. Another day of sunshine and warm temps. We NEED some snow! 😱
Wish I could share… we have more than enough!
I wish you could too. 😊 Stay safe and warm.
Thanks! We just came in from walking the dog – fairytale lovely – a heavy whiteout. I think this will be the ‘BIG one’ of the year for us. I’ll heed your advice, there’s chicken soup in the crock pot and extra logs for the fire. 🙂
And a hot toddy after 5? 😊
Ooh, that sounds like a good idea! 🙂
