I like all the colors and textures in this. And that untracked snow!
Thank you, Lisa. Yes, post-storm blankets of snow are perfect!
Always such a pleasure to look at your pictures. I am really taken with the abstract nature of this one.
Thank you very much, Laurie. I love the blue snow shadows of winter.
Me, too!
Awesome photo, Eliza. Hope you are making your way slowly but surely through the winter … xo
Thank you, Rebecca. Now that the days are 10 hours long, I am content. I don’t mind the snow or cold, it is the dark days that get to me!
So clear đ
Thank you, Karen. đ

Beautiful – even more so when I see it while looking out at a palm tree and blue water.

Such interesting depth and texture and what an amazing blue!
Thank you, Carol. I even upped the exposure to try to lighten it up a bit. The shadows are so dark here in winter.

Thank you, Sue!
Beautiful flow and textures, so soothing…
Thank you, Julie!
The colours are surprising – how snow comes up so blue!
Early morning and late pm light looks particularly blue. Reportedly, snowflakes absorb red light and reflect blue, so that is what we mostly see.
Stunning, it looks like a sand dune but in blue and white.
Thank you, Chloris. We’ve lots of these ‘dunes’ around these days. đ
Cool!
Thank you, Bela!
So nice, Eliza! I really like the color and texture contrast between the foreground and background.
