That looks very cold indeed! But beautiful
Freezing rain may be treacherous, but it certainly is beautiful. Thanks, Christina!
Beautiful! It reminds me of last year when we had this… nature covered in ice; so cool đ
Thank you very much, Noortje. Like everything is coated in sparkling glass. đ
Wonderfully ethereal Eliza…reminds me of Lara’s Theme from Dr Zhivago for some reason 8^)
Thank you, Frank. Almost as cold as Russia. đ
O that’s lovely Eliza
Thank you very much, Denzil.
Crystal… What a beautiful photo!
Merci, Louise!
Even in winter, there are so many beautiful things to behold in nature!
So true, thanks, Alice!
You really got a good thick coating of ice down there! I love how the ice made little caps on the flower tops. Gorgeous photo.
Thank you, Brenda. Everyone dreads ice, but it can be pretty!
The beauty of ice mesmerizes so! Great photo Eliza đ
Thank you, Val. đ
A nice world of ice…nicely captured. (Suzanne)

Thank you so much, Judy. đ
oooh, beautiful!!
Thank you!
Brrrr! Looks like a cold day and clearly shows why we should be out and about taking pictures, even on those very cold days.
Absolutely – in nature, there is always something to capture with the lens. đ
Nice effect. Beautiful.
Thank you!
Ahhh such a stunning capture! I love this… â¤
Many thanks, Julie!
Beautiful stillness Eliza đ
Thank you, Karen. So much of winter is like that around here. ‘Stillness,’ a great word for it.
Great shot/great light. I just posted icy pics but the light was so gray/flat. Still, ice on plants is always mesmerizing to me!
Thank you. Ice is definitely amazing. I heard you had an ice storm. Did you lose power?
Beautiful photo!
Thank you!
How beautiful! Maybe I would have enjoyed Missouri ice storms more if I had used a camera then… đ Stay warm; hope you haven’t lost electricity?!
Thank you. A camera does make the winter more enjoyable, for sure. No power loss thankfully!
Ethereal, ephemeral, elegant.
Thank you for the triple Es! đ
đ
You do ice beautifully, Eliza!
Lots of practice. đ Thanks, Kris!
Reblogged this on Anita Dawes & Jaye Marie.

So so beautiful Eliza.
Thank you very much, Sylvia.
So pretty (though from a distance – no ice needed or wanted here!).

The ice fairies came! Beautiful!
Thank you, Laurie, they did!
That picture is amazing. I hope I can capture something so beautiful some day.
Thank you, Marlinalicea!
Looks like here a few days ago.
Ice is nice, so long as it melts fairly quickly. đ
I agree. đ
Wow – so gorgeous!
Thank you, Fi. đ
Stunning photo. I love that brief interlude when the world is encased in ice. â¤
