It’s nice to have vases of flowers cut from my garden once again. I’ve missed having them. Above are some mixed, sweetly-scented Narcissi in a deep cobalt vase.
Out front are a mix of Tulipa ‘Charming Beauty’ and Muscari ‘Valerie Finnis,’ which I was pleased bloomed together. The timing doesn’t always work so perfectly! With the weather being cooler than normal, they have lasted well. What bulb combinations have worked for you?

One of our traditions that has become a rite of spring is to make Violet Tea. We celebrate the beginning of the growing season with a tea party. My young neighbors and I look forward to this every year; it’s such a delight to share a cuppa of these sweeties.

Let us do all we can to take care of our Mother and All Our Relations.
