Beautiful. The trees are about to show us how to let dead things go. I miss experiencing this time of year in the western hemisphere.
Thank you, Dawn. Yes, fall in the northeast is epic, we’re having one of the best years in many. 👍🏼🍁🍂
Wonderful portrayal of texture!
Thank you, Dale!
Beautiful. The simple things in the circle of life that brings beauty to us every year. Thank you for sharing.
Thanks, Maria. You’re right about that. 🙏🏼 🧡
Thank you for reminding me about that every week.
Happy Autumn. Lovely, Eliza.🍁
Thank you, Jane! 🧡
A last hug.
Lovely.
Thank you, Rupali. A lovely thought. 🙂
Absolutely brilliant, Eliza 🙂 🙂 🙂
Thank you, Anne!
Tis the season. 🙂
And a glorious one at that. 🙂
It’s so odd to see autumn color ‘already,’ even though this is beautiful. We’re still hot and green: lovely for summer, but a little much for October.
When I look at the weather map, I am astounded to see your day temps in the 90s, when we are having frost at night!
Ah…gorgeous. Hoping incoming rain doesn’t affect the color this week.
Thank you, Julie. One way or another, they are all coming down sooner or later. 🙂
Delightful color, Eliza. Too many of our fallen leaves are mostly plain pale yellow/beige/brown no doubt as a result of the drought. It’s nice to see your colors. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Monika. While we had a dry summer, I guess we had just enough rain and dry days mixed to make it a good foliage season. So grateful for that!
That leaf can be a great subject for a painting!
Thank you, Hien!
Such a pretty example 🍁
Thank you, Belinda!
So the leaf cleverly pasted itself there!
Astonishingly, the wind blew it there, where it clung by its edge!
So pretty! I have a similar shot of a leaf on my wood deck. Great minds…
Thank you, Laurie. Fall is abundantly beautiful!
Such beautiful textures Eliza! 🧡 xxx
Thank you, Xenia! 🍁
Looks like autumn! Nice shot, Eliza!
Thank you, Tina!
Beautiful. Such a lovely composition.
Thank you, Cathy!
Fabulous.
Thank you, Alys!
Beautiful combination. Maple reds are super.
Thank you, Tom. The leaf was surprisingly leathery!
so beautiful to see the leaf on the tree. thank you!
Thank you, Pat!
So beautiful. Here in coastal Southwest India we do not have a winter. Our trees remain green throughout the year.
Thank you, Lakshmi. We have a solid four seasons here. As the trees go dormant, our forests become denuded in preparation for the coming snows. Brrr!
………..a beauty, from the Maple Syrup family!
Yes, thanks! I love how fallen maple leaves give off a maple scent, delicious!
Qué bonito! Felicidades.
Gracias, Ernesto!
I can almost feel the leathery texture. Pretty!!!
Thank you, Denise!
Beautiful 🍁
Thank you!
