    I had no idea hostas would produce such lovely flowers. This one looks to be lavender rather than blue, but of course color-naming can be problematic when screens and cameras are involved!

      Thanks, Linda. The blue refers to the leaves, I believe. They have the same waxy blush that blueberries have. The rain washes most of it off by the end of the summer. But it is a lovely plant, if I I can keep the deer away from it!

      Thank you, Tina. From dividing the original plant, I have placed them in various spots around the yard so the bloom is extended, plus there’s been divisions to share. It is quite prolific!
