Thanks, Anne. It feels like the beginning… our biggest storm to date this winter. But not uncommon to have our largest storms in the last month. Looks pretty out there!

  25. Your picture raised the question of whether the real Buddha had ever seen snow. The Wikipedia article about him says he is traditionally believed to have been born in what is now Nepal; if true, then he probably did see snow.

  26. Maria says:

Serenity indeed. Snow is the image of peaceful when it is laying still, or slowly falling. We are enjoying a good February, the weather is 20-30F all the time, and it is rather nice. We’ve had some winds, but not too bad, and we’ve also enjoyed a lot of sun. I visited this place today https://www.carllarsson.se/en/ you would like it a lot. It is more gorgeous in the summer with the gardens, but it was still very enjoyable.

    • Eliza Waters says:

Thanks, Maria. One of my favorite artists~ it must be neat to see the house featured in many of his paintings. You’ll have to visit in summer to capture the gardens!

      • Maria says:

Really! Wow, I figured you would enjoy his work. I will definitely visit in the summer (it’s a short walk from my house.)

  27. Snow or summer sun, a serene and peaceful symbol.

  28. Jane Lurie says:

    Beautifully zen, Eliza.
