The clouds look like the foam that forms in the pan when cooking fresh peas! You could use those leafy branches to skim the foam away!

Are they both red maples? I like that they look different but are still friends! 🙂
Yes, both red maples, but different in rate of turning. Perhaps one was a cross, which happens a lot with maples and would account for the difference.
Very uplifting! It would be hard to watch where you’re walking at all with sights like this around, if there were not so many mushrooms too to keep us grounded.

I enjoyed this photo – nice how the leaves and the clouds break up the space in similar ways.
The organic pattern of trees is repeated throughout the natural world. Veins, rivers, and even clouds. 🙂
