What a beautiful color! And what a gorgeous picture! I have some white crested iris that were passed along to me, but I love that purple.
Thank you, Indie. If you ever come out to western MA, I’ll give you some. I have tons of it!
Not only beautiful, but has a geometrical patern in the middle!
Yes, it reminded me of a kaleidoscope. Thank you!
Perfect 🌸🌸
Thank you, Karen!
You have always had an eye for beauty. That’s a great pic. And yes, rain is good – in moderation!
Thank you very much, Peter. I like a day of rain now and again. It is an excuse to stay inside and read! 😉

That’s incredible – like crystal prisms at the centre!
Perfect geometry! Ain’t Nature grand? 😉
I like the way the water magnified the center.
It really struck me, too. It sent me scurrying for my camera!
Gorgeous shot!
Thank you very much, Fi!
…….thinking about how fortunate we are to have such amazing colors, flowers and water and photographers among us! 😍
🙂 Thank you, Alice. We needed that rain.
Oh lovely. Liquid and crystal-like at the same time.
Yes, a lovely effect. Thanks, Allison.
It reminded me of a kaleidoscope too Eliza.
🙂 Thanks, Christina. I loved the effect the little puddle made.

Thank you very much, Amy. 🙂 It was one of ‘those run back inside for the camera’ events!
Ohhhhhh I only know too well those days. (wink!)
Very pretty Eliza. Raindrops can be so captivating when caught on flowers and leaves!
Thank you, Cathy!
Iris looks ravishing spangled in jewels.
She really is a diva! 😉 Thanks, Peter.
My eyes are playing a trick on me here – I can’t even tell it’s an iris thanks to the angle of the shot and the water.
Pretty cool effect, eh? 🙂
Very cool!
Beautiful Eliza! ❤
Thank you, Julie!

Thank you very much, Maria! xx
Thank you for sharing the beauty.
Is the rain more beautiful than than the flower, or vice versa? I can’t decide. Best in combination I suppose!
Raindrops are like the icing on the cake. 🙂 Thanks, Kris!

Thank you, Andrea!
I’m not familiar with the crested iris, Eliza. And this photo is delightful, so much vibrant color and spring jubilance in the water and fresh leaves and deep purple.
Thank you, Jet. I guess it is an eastern native, makes a nice ground cover, even in the shade.
Aah, the lures of nature…
🙂
Wow!! Beautiful photography! 🙂
Thank you, Maysa!
